Russian stock markets are down 11% and trading has been halted. Things only get worse from here for Putin and Mother Russia as sanctions take time to work, it will take about 6 months or more for the full impact of these sanctions to be felt by Russia. And there is still room for tougher sanctions should Putin persist.

take a closer look at who these "international observers" claim to be and you will realize the necessity for security in the entire region to prevent further provocations or alterations.
I don't think mining an area is a smart idea because that only shows they are hiding something there otherwise INTERNATIONAL observers might locate something that Russia doesn't want known about.

The mines are there to secure the site. period. This entire civilian plane crash has been used to push US agendas in Europe as possible. The focus here is to prevent the alterations at the site by anyone, ukranian armies, US advisors, rebels.

Except all American stock indexes are near their all time highs. The Dow is a very narrow and least representative index. There are only 30 stocks in the Dow. US stock markets are essentially flat today and the US economy is growing. Last quarter the US economy grew at a 4% rate. The Russian economy isn't growing. The US ECONOMY ISN'T tied to mother Russia.

All of which still does not explain why you still live in the US, enjoying the freedoms you have under Obama instead of returning to live in the Motherland.
And really, placing mines is a clear indication that they are:
1) Hampering all efforts to investigate what happened.
2) Endangering the lives of international investigators attempting to access the site to investigate what happened.
3) Appears to be yet another attempt to tamper with the site by placing explosives which run the risk of destroying evidence.
Which means that the Russian backed and armed rebels are either deceitful murderer's supported by Putin's regime or they are all as stupid as each other. Which do you think it is?
