the moon wind affect was added later for patriotism.
U people have no shame that Astronots never saw up on the moon to look at the stars.

heh:bugeye: ? did apollo 11 originally inteded to land near surveyor 5
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surveyor_5
It's yust funny that it was only 25 km away from the lander of apollo 11(note that surveyor 5 is not the same like the visited surveyor 3).
So there you go travelling 300 000 km and when your there you stop 25 km of something interesting. (I realise that they couldn't walk the distance but it should not have been impossible to photograph it or land closer to it
have u no shame?!!! To say astronauts never been on the moon!
Go look at ISS photos, International Svace Station...well guess what there are no visible stars there too.

all the moon landing spotz
That picture was not taken from a lander, it was taken by an astronaut during an EVAWell thanks for adding fuel to fire.
Now prove,
how does a Lander located at 30 degrees give a view this beautiful.
See here, and perhaps you should read the captions before making claims, Anomalous. The accompanying NASA page said:View of boulder at Station 2 (Amundsen Crater) photographed during second Apollo 17 extrvehicular activity (EVA-2). The earth can be seen directly above the boulder in the lunar sky
