Any people with real psychic/paraphysical abilities here?

I have dreams at random maybe once every 5 or 6 years that occur usually the next day verbatim. I have dreams that loosely represent the next days occurances every few months.
Unfortunately, unless I have a dream about you, this is completely unverifiable within the context of this thread.
Heres to hoping

Wow. So much has happened since this thread began..

Imagine: box jellyfish that
are able to hunt and distinguish color without any resemblance to a brain;
glial cells in the brain, (the gray matter,) that transmit signals to each other
in a chemical process that is, itself, separate from neural pulses...(a whole other processing unit?); REG experiments to measure some global subconscious coherence; we've managed to process quantum wells, and have even begun to map dark matter! And then, of course, there is the bell theorem, etc.

~It might be a wiser decision to admit that there is a possibility.Obviously, few things new and exciting could be discovered unless the gatekeepers were willing to suspend their beliefs long enough to consider them.. I, for one, would love to see the affects this kind of paradigm would have on our societies many misrepresented weirdos! ;)

Good to see some familiar names here after all this time..and please forgive me if I've somehow managed to hijack this thread! (Feel free to carry on)

:D

Anyone who could win the Randi challenge could make millions at the casinos, so there is no point in offering any prize less than ten million dollars.

Ah, forgive me, MetaKron. I wasn't speaking too clearly the other morning, was I? I swear that my words are too copius for even my own dominit of comprehension, and the sorting of it all can get lost via translation. Honest.

I meant to refer to what may be the legitimacy of the paramnesic type of episodes mentioned by Mr. Honcho, among others. I am also, sort of, replying to what stryder had said about having evidence ( "People will obviously be sceptical in regards to what you say because to this point in time there has never been any conclusive proof that anything like that is possible.") I'm curious, actually, how much validated evidence is required to become conclusive proof?

I stand by whatever I said..?

In science there's no such thing as a "conclusive proof", merely accumulating support for a current theory - it would still only take one single counter-example to disprove the theory..
As for "validated evidence", if there was any at all then science would probably take it seriously.

I think, before attempting to prove or disprove the existence of these "mind abilities", we should first figure out if they are even possible. Are they?

No worries bluemommaphish, this thread died along time ago. Anything left is just zombification :).

There is if the person isn't interested in gobs and gobs of money and fame... but that just wouldn't be human now would it?

Come now, CC, you probably are trying to provoke a response. I don't wish to be provoked. I'd like a solid expression of weather or not you would like to hear an explanation coming from me. If you think it is not worth it, just say so.

Come now Sisy, an explanation without an objective event to explain isn't valuable.
