The problem I have is that Brolly admitted earlier in this thread that he wasn't acting his age, Now he's blaming it on him being deaf.

Besides..., Joeman was outnumbered here..:D

what Joeman means is that Brolly uses his deafness as an excuse for bad posts.

Then he asks you what your excuse is (with a smiley of course), implying that you make bad posts too. He wants your excuse for your bad posts.

This should speed up things. :)

Yet BEFORE he said that, his profile said he was born in 1980. I checked because I didn't want to attack some young kid. Now he's saying he's 16.:rolleyes:

Once again, I have known quite a few deaf people and all of them are quite intelligent.

Being deaf affects your HEARING, not IQ...;)

Bingo! That is exactly what I meant. Anyone should be able to figure that out but Thor. So what is his excuse for that? :D

Yes, the use of a smiley usually indicates humour. Such as:

"You ugly s.o.b. :) " means you are not actually an ugly s.o.b.

It also has a calming effect:

:) You all suck. :) I hate you all. :) See? The message is softened, and therefore, humourous. :)
