story time!!!!

After my meal, I decided I should do a sequel to my latest sci-fi hit. But I didn't.

Instead, I ran for governor.

I noticed that many people around me were not interesting in trying to make a story, but just to make 'funny' one-liners. Unfortunately they all seemed to have had some german ancestry and had a mutation in the 'humour gene.

I was wondering if they were really human. I walked towards the nearest person, a 6 year old girl in a pink dress, and ripped her head off. Aha...my suspicions were right. It was an android.

I started to observe my surroundings more intensively. I had been such an idiot. It was like a glitch in the matrix. Many details were wrong. Trees do not have blue leaves. Women do not have moustaches (well, not most of them).

I then saw what I was looking for. A hatch to the sewers. I opened it and saw a clean white halllway. Not your average sewer I would say. I entered the 'sewers' and started walking down the hallway looking for some real people so I could ask them some prodding question meanwhile prodding a large stick in their behind to encourage some prompt answers.

I encountered the first door. It was not locked.

Inside a muscular man sat at a computer desk.
"Who are you?" I asked.
"halt!" He barked back at me " this is not your domain"
We exchanged an awkward stare.
"aaahhh whats going on?" this guy seemed very suspicious
"Nothing"
"no let me see whats on your computer" I moved towards him and he stood defiantly, he lifted his arm and it slowly morphed into a machine gun.
So slowly in fact that I had time to push him out of the way and look at his monitor.
I was not prepared for what I saw, it was a website, a website... about me.
A live webcam showing me sleeping and wearing nothing but a large black virtual reality headset was in the corner of the screen.
I looked at the muscular man, he looked at his morphing arm and strained as if to try and make it morph faster.
I looked back at the monitor and the same man appeared in the webcam window, only he wasn't muscular at all and he too was wearing a virtual reality headset. He appeared to adjust the webcam and then he started undressing and looking down at my unconscious body, I didn't like where this was going.
I punched the muscular version as hard as I could
"stupid machine-gun-arm!" was the last thing i heard as I ran out the door...

I was to learn that this was a bad idea, for running out the door meant that I would run straight into the wall of the corridor. BANG! I collided agaist the wall and fell straight to the ground. Stumbling to get up, I must have looked like a retarded seal with a broken back. But this was no time to worry about appearance... or was it?...

With my back broken, I immediately dove off of the cliff. As I fell, I gave a good whistle, and my trusted dragon friend, Soley, came to scoop me up. We flew for a good ten minutes, when finally, he dropped me off at the train station.
Capri was there waiting for me.
"Hey!" I shouted.
Capri turned around.
"Quickly,” she said. “We don't have much time."
I followed her to the parking lot. She pulled out her Portable Communication Unit, and clicked a few buttons.
The doors to her cruiser opened.
She got into the driver seat as jumped into the passenger seat.
"Your back is broken" she said. "I must get you to the Sanctuary as soon as possible.
"How did you know about my back, Capri?" I asked her.
"Mama Fortuna had a vision," she said as she looked around pulling the cruiser out of it's spot.

As the cruiser lifted off, there was a beeping sound as red dots appeared on the screen.
"What's that?" I asked her.
"Hounds," she replied. "They're on our tail. Hold on tight."
I braced myself while she spun the cruiser around, and jetted it off to the side. We took off as fast as we could in hopes of out running them. I looked back, and saw two mean looking cruisers coming up behind us. The Hounds were still after us.

I whistled for Soley. Out of the sky, my dragon friend came down right away in front of us. He swooped over our windshield, and flew behind us to attack. Soley flew off to the right, spun around, and rocketed towards one of the Hounds. As he hit the Hound, it ricocheted into the other Hound.

My partner and I made off as fast as we could. “What was that all about?” I asked her.
“The Hounds work for Atkin’s army,” she explained. “They are planning to declare war on Mama Fortuna and the Sanctuary. I don’t know how they managed to find us. It’s a good thing that dragon friend of yours came. I don’t think this cruiser would have been able to outrun them.”

We drove on for about twenty minutes through the buildings of the old city, and made it to the field. After a few minutes through the field at top speed, we came upon the Sanctuary.
Mama Fortuna’s Sanctuary was a fairly large dome. Somewhat like an arena or stadium. Crowds over crowds of people camped out in front of it. Many were worshipers of Mama Fortuna. Others were spies for Atkin. Others were peddlers there for profit selling food and other goods. Others were beggars. Others were curious travelers. Others were women and transvestites selling sex to these travelers. While others still were members of small independent gangs that distributed narcotics, and looted unwary victims. These thugs made good by snatching PCUs right out of people’s hands, then turning around and selling them.

Before hitting the crowds, Capri weaved the cruiser to the left towards the side road. This road to the dome was empty, but heavily guarded. As soon as we made it to the front of the road, Capri slowed down, and the guards waved us through. We cruised at a moderate speed towards the main entrance of the Sanctuary. . .

Nobody posted. You people suck. Fine. I'll keep going.

We parked the cruiser in the grass off of the road. We got out, and walked the rest of the way towards the grand stairs of the main entrance. I didn’t realize how bad my back felt until I took about a dozen steps. I almost fell over. When we came closer to the stairs, we saw several bald dark skinned men in robes rushing down carrying a stretcher. By the time we got to the foot of the stairs, the men were already loading me on. On our ascent, one of the men put his hand on my forehead. We got closer to the main door when I began feeling very drowsy. I looked back at Capri following behind us at a slower pace. That was the last thing I remembered before the darkness hit.

I awoke in a sunlit room with wooden floors. I was lying on a white mattress on the floor. A fan was blowing a gentle breeze at me. But the one thing that came to my attention most was how great I felt. I felt like a million credits. A billion credits. My back no longer bothered me in the slightest. My body was fresh clean, and I was wearing a clean white gown.

“Your clothes have been disposed of. There is a new outfit for you there on the dresser,” said Capri with a smile. “It should fit just fine. After all, I was the one that measured you.”

Capri stood up from the padded foot stool she was sitting on beside my bed. I took a deep breath, and gave her a smile. “How long was I out?” I asked.
“No more than a day,” she replied.
“I feel amazing,” I told her.
“You look amazing,” she said with a giggle. “I never doubted Mama Fortuna for a second.”

Capri walked towards the door. “I will have a meal prepared for you. When you come out, just follow the stairs down. Mama Fortuna would like to see you as soon as you are finished eating. Your new assistant is Kudoz. He is out getting you a PCU. He should be back with it by the time your meeting with Mama Fortuna is complete.”

I gave her my thanks, and she replied smiling with, “not necessary.”
I got up, took off my gown, and started donning my new outfit. The white pants were made of a light material, and fit loosely. The white shirt was made of the same material with long sleeves, and small fasteners down the middle. The sneakers were light and comfortable. Everything fit just right.

I went out the room door, and slid it shut. The hallway was also well lit with wooden floors, and there were stairs on the right. The stairs came down into a cozy dining room with stone floors and a wooden table at the center. I saw a young dark haired girl coming out through what I guessed could only be the kitchen door with two plates of hot food.
“Just in time,” she said smiling. “I am Alma, the assistant cook.” She put the plates on the table. “Just call me if you need anything,” she said.
“Thank you, Alma. Nice to meet you,” I said.

She turned around, and went back through the door as Capri made her way out from the kitchen. We both sat down, and started eating. “I’m starving,” she said with her mouth full. There was a pitcher of water on the middle of the table, and I poured some into my cup after I took a few bites. The food was really good, so I said, “This food is really good.”

Capri finished before I did, and waited for me to get done. I cleaned out my entire plate, and drank a few glasses of water. It was pretty filling. “Do you need to use the restroom?” asked Capri.
“Yes,” I told her. “I would like to wash up real quick before my meeting.”
Capri showed me the washroom, and I took a few moments to get cleaned up. Then I followed her down a few halls, rooms, and up some stairs to Mama Fortuna’s quarters.

It was a large room at the rear of the building. Light beamed through the large windows. There was no furniture. Only at the rear of the room was a mat with a cushion, and other cushions in front of it. And there on the mat with her legs crossed sat Mama Fortuna. . .

Suddenly, a veiny hand slapped me across the face..BAM! It dawned on me then that my pathetic ass was off daydreaming. When one hears so many voices inside one's head, one tend sto drift off....

I was standing facing that muscular man by the desk.

He asked, "Have you come for it?'
"For what?", I was confused.
"Have you come for the initiation? Are you ready to see what you have felt all your life? The thing that has been bothering you along?"
"Something has been bothering me all along?"
The muscular man simply shook his head in disgust and slapped me across the face. It felt so good I let a slimy one out of the asshole for old time's sake. The yellowish slimy feces soaked through my undies and down my legs. I saw the muscular start to grin as his nose starting twitching...Obviously he smelled my shit. He slapped me again, harder...More squit from the ass. Again, again and again! And each time, another slimy shit emerged and infected the air with more foulness. I was enjoying this and so was he.

Suddenly, a loud whinny voice emerged from behind the muscular man; "Hey! You wannabe Aussie fuck! The pussy is mine!" I slowly looked up and gazed at the face of the voice. It dawned on me then that I was looking at....

. . . Mama Fortuna!!!!

My vision was still a little blurry, but it was clearing as I sat up. I had been lying down on a cushion in front of Mama Fortuna. She was an elder woman wearing a similar outfit as mine except it was color red.

“What happened?” I asked.
“As soon as you walked in the door, you passed out,” she replied. “The energy in this room must be too strong for you as it is for most people. I thought you would be able to handle it better, but I think you are doing fine now. You were only out for a few minutes.”
“Capri said that you wanted to see me,” I said.
“Yes,” she explained. “Our forces are limited. I would like to appoint you to search for the sacred Egg of Vandeca. It’s power would turn the tide in our favor to a great degree.”

Cursed voices within my head! Why will you not leave me be!!! Mama Fortuna? Space ships, Convertibles? Sacred Eggs? I am a handicapped, incessantly defecating, dog killing, self hating, Aussie chasing, delusional drug addict! My alter ego is normalcy! Man, I was seriously cursing at myself to shut these fucking voices that simply wouldn't let me be. With my head cleared, I let out a big out one **Shooosh!** just out of satisfaction. Ahhhhh. Hey, what the fuck is that...

...smell... like burning ozone... i was smelling burning micro chips!
all of a sudden the whole world blurred into pixels and then blackness.

out of no where i was laying on the floor of a small room filled with the smoke of burning multi-million dollar technology.
"wholy motherfucking christ!" a man screamed from far away.
"the visual input receptors fried, we are so screwd. thisl take months to replace!" i then realised he was actualy standing above me, and i was sitting strapped into a chair, not laying down.
"where the fuck am i now?" i tried to say.
"you ok bruce?" i realised he must have ment me.
"look, my name isnt bruce." i told him, although as soon as i had i rememberd that it was.
"yes it is..." he said causiusly.
"i know. and your andy"
"yup! looks like your entire mind wasnt fried!.... good for you..."
"could take these fucking straps off?"
"yah, just had to make sure you didnt thrash around or anything while you were in VR."
"yah... hey, take a look at the files. i think a few scenes from fortuna quest must have gotten in somehow. i kept seeng mama fortuna now and then twards the end."
"realy? hm... interesting..." i saw on his face that i wasnt the only one who smelled my fecal mater "looks like the thougt manipulators must somehow be interfering with intestinal muscle control."
"so i noticed"
"yah, we still got some bugs to work out... but thats what testing is for, right?"
"i gues.... but next time YOUR going in, that was scary"
"sure, no prob man."
"so when will we get that new chip in?"
"i got no clue. sometime next monthish i supose"
"right."
i saw andy, my co programer and the techy helping out on the new VR set, staring at my pants
"remind me to wear an old pear of pants when i go in, kay?"
"sure. first we gotta get the glitches outa the system. that was messed up dude. and the thought manipulater was so screwy, i kept having flash back sorta things of my real life. and seeing mama fortuna pop up like that was creepy."
"haha, im on it. i swear i dunno how those files got in there... howd she look?"
"kinda fat..." i said honestly.
"hey, if you dont like the sprites why dont YOU work on them for a change?"
"fine, but first im gonna go get changed..."

I quickly left the lab, and made it to my compartment down a few halls. The entire tower was made of an aluminum alloy. Everything around had a cold metallic feel to it. My compartment was a tiny box of a room with a bed and a dresser. On top the dresser was my Portable Communications Unit. On the far wall was a door to my mini-bathroom. After jumping in the shower, I grabbed a clean towel to dry myself up. I put on a pair of black jeans, and a black shirt. I was feeling restless, so I strapped on my black shoes.

I grabbed my PCU, and checked my messages as I went down to the cruiser bay. The only message was from Capri. I haven’t spoken to her in months. I decided I would get back to her later. The main door at the front of the tower was just as small as my own compartment door. I aimed my PCU at it, punched in the code, and the door unlocked. I opened it, and walked outside. As soon as it closed, the door locked automatically.

There was nothing but jungle surrounding me. The aluminum metallic tower behind me stood about ten stories overlooking the trees. The fresh air was great on this planet.

The entire jungle was on a very large island on this planet. The mainland was occupied the Aliens that have been using us humans as their slaves for a number of years. I was one of the fortunate ones that managed to escape onto this island. It used to be an Alien scientific testing area. There were many different buildings and towers similar to this one scattered about the island for various scientific purposes. When the Aliens abandoned the island, human slaves that managed to escape from the mainland began to settle on it. I escaped with some friends about a year ago. There are a number of small human settlements all around the island. For some reason, Aliens never came to the island.

I walked into the jungle to grab some fruit juice. There were different fruits all over the place. There was a large one you can poke a hole into, and drink the juice out of. It was good. I grabbed it, and started drinking. Further down, I saw a small group of people coming towards me.

“The Aliens,” one of them said as they approached. “They are here. On the island. Our communications have been destroyed. You must help us warn others.”

The first thing that came to my mind was Capri. Before I could think of anything else, I found myself contacting her on the PCU. There was nothing. No answer. I led the group into the tower, and told them to go upstairs. I grabbed a speed bike, and lifted off. Capri’s settlement was about 20 minutes away. I took off as fast as I could. . .

Commercial Break

Where did all the story time posters go? Will somebody continue this story?

maybe theyd come back if everytime someone tries to get the story moving in a direction that makes sence people would go with it... instead of saying it was a halucination, the matrix, or just randomly put them on a diferent planet *cough cough* cool skill! *cough cough*

~end comercial brake~

Next Commercial

What the hell.
I only did that once after moron thefountainhead did it.
So don't even blame me for being the only one to pull that.
Even you were the one that made him wake up in a virtual reality.
And I continued the story from the virtual reality stint where you left off without any throwing any other virtual hallucinations in.

In fact, excuse me for attempting veer the story into something more worthwhile instead of filling it up with silly jokes. I thought that's what you people wanted.

oh goody... another good thread gone bad.
my apologies, cool skill. it seems i must admit that you are indeed in the right. i bow before your splender.
and as for the virtual reality thing i was just trying to make the rest of the story somehow make sence.

I took off as fast as I could. . .

only to crash down only 30 meters further. I tried my PCU again. Nothing. All electronic equipment had been shut down. No doubt the aliens were behind this. They were playing with us as if we were some mice in a laboratory.
They might have superior technology, but I was guessing that they were made out of flesh and blood. Their blood might be green or purple, but it would flow just like ours. I picked up a long metal rod and taped my large knife (i called her Betsy) to one end. I assessed the accessroads and my eyes cought a particular large and bushy tree near one. That will do, I thought. i climbed it and hid myself in the foliage, waiting patiently for this little green assholes to appear.

They weren't green at all, with big beady black eyes and long protruding fingers. They were about a head taller than a human, furry, with a facial structure that reminded me of a giraffe. Except that its teeth looked more like those of a tiger. A predator. A strong predator by the looks of their bulky bodies. This would be interesting.

They were carrying long metal objects that looked like some kind of laser weapon. Whatever would come out of the barrel I was sure it could kill. I let them all pass. One of them was trying to catch up with the group. It would pass my tree all by himself. My opportunity to teach this scum what a human was capable fo doing.

I braced myself...and launched from the tree driving my improvised spear deep in the aliens back. Red blood (and not green or purple to my surprise) spprayed from the wound. The alien went limp immediately without even making a sound. His comrades had noticed nothing. I picked up the 'gun', and retrieved Betsy, wiping the blade on the aliens fur.

I disarmed the spear, and put Betsy away. I examined my newfound weapon. It looked like a new type of laser stick. I grasped the handle with my finger on the trigger, and followed the group of Aliens at a distance. I had counted about four of them. If I could ambush them, I could surely take them all out. I came closer behind them, set myself behind a large rock, and took aim. My first shot took out the one that looked like the leader of the pack. My second shot was able to take out another one of them. The next thing I knew, I was being fired at. Stupid. I have no room for escape. I’m doomed. I looked up, and saw a large cluster of juice pods hanging down from a tree above them. I brought my feet to the rock, my back to the floor, and opened fire up at the tree. My shot knocked the cluster down right on top of their heads. It was my only chance. I jumped up, and blasted both of their heads off while they were scrambling.

One of them was carrying a grenade that I thought might come in handy later. I began to run towards Capri’s settlement. As I came closer I could make out the runway. This settlement looked like it used to be some kind of spaceport. I know Capri and the people that lived there were working on some kind of shuttle to get us all off of the planet. If the Aliens found out about this there would surely be no hope at all. A few minutes later, somebody saw me running up to the base, and came to pick me up in a cruiser.

He said his name was, Nasor. I told him about the Aliens, and what happened on the way. “Blasted!” he exclaimed. “We only needed about another week at the least before we could get the shuttle to launch. I guess if we work double time, we can get it done in a few days. Only we don’t know how large a force the Aliens sent. We might not be able to hold them off that long. We would need the help of everybody on the island.”

“If we can somehow distract them to the other side of the island,” I said. “Perhaps it would buy us enough time to complete the project.”
“We need some kind of plan,” he said. “I don’t think anybody is prepared for such an invasion. We must consult the chief.”
“How’s Capri?” I asked.
“She’s fine,” he said as we pulled up. “She is at work right now.”

We got out of the cruiser, and headed straight to the office of the chief. I quickly explained what was happening.
“What a mess,” he said. “And just as we are coming so close to ultimate escape. The first thing we need to do is establish some kind of communication system with the rest of the islanders. I’m sure not all of them have been informed. The problem is that the Aliens could intercept our signal.”
“Do you have a good technical assistant?” I asked.
“Yes,” said the chief. Our technology expert, Sever, is pretty good.
“We can ask him to program a code.” I explained. “We can manually issue out a key to the code to each settlement as soon as possible. That way, we can communicate in code, and only those with the key would be ale to understand it.”
“I’ll have Sever begin work on it right away,” said the chief. “Nasor, please make an announcement for everybody in camp to meet at the field immediately. I will make an official order for everybody to put maximum effort into working through this emergency situation.”

I headed down to the shuttle bay to look for Capri. The shuttle was enormous. I could imagine it could fit every person on the island in it pretty comfortably. There were about fifty people all around it. As Nasor’s call to the field came on, I saw Capri. I greeted her, and explained to her what was going on while walking to the field. She told me she didn’t answer her PCU because she had left it in her compartment.

After a short while, everybody on the base was gathered at the field to hear what the chief had to say. . .

Go back home and eat your cheese... We've not a chance in hell !

Everybody laughed. Our chief had a strange sense of humour and this remark certainly broke the tension.

Ok, everybody knows what he is suposed to do, so don't just stand there like a bunch of sissies. GO AND FUCKIGN DO YOUR JOB.

the people roared, and the crowd dispersed quickly. Our chief was a man of a few words. That was why we liked him so much. There was only one thought on everybodies mind: we have to make it or we are dead.
