Scivillage

the tiger could not find anything fun to do so he just sat around all day and watch the monkey eat his flies, wonding how many flies it take to fill a monkey belly.

(figured out what sage was in Danish and look for it at the store, but found a big can of cacao powder more interesting, mmmm hot cacao)

DAY187

I went for my usual morning swim in the river. It was there I bumped into that same frog, Arditezza.
"Ribbit! Ribbit!" I shouted.
She stared at me bewildered. I don't think she understood what I said.
"Kokak," I said, "kokak kokak kokak."
What does it take to get a frog to understand you.
She opened her mouth, and inside was none other than. . .

"MY PRECIOUS!!!!"
"Give it here!"
I snatched my precious out of her mouth, and rushed back towards the village.

Hmm, Invert is still standing around on the town square. I still have not figured out how to revert him back to normal. I found some scirum I once aquired from the monkey and hoped that answers can be foun on the bottom of the bottle.

Just a note of clarification to our readers: The "Oh my precious!" that Cool Skill snatched out of Ardi's mouth was not the red red ruby, but a little magic fly, to which we will pay a lot more attention a little later in the story. Ardi has made herself on the way to the Druid, with the red red ruby.

Meanwhile Dreamwalker is trying to get Invert unstoned. He found a bottle of scirum and he thought that answers can be found on the bottom of it. This, however, meant in this particular case, as Invert is stoned, that Dreamwalker had to be the one who has to go down to the bottom of that bottle to find those answers.

So he went. Down to the bottom of the bottle. It was quite an experience. On his way there (and as the scirum took effect in his cognitive system), some genies began to emerge. The moment Dreamwalker drank the last drop from the bottle, Sharon Stone stood there in all her grace and glory.

My, did she shine! Dreamwalker, partly overwhelmed by the scirum, and partly stoned by Sharon, sat in the grass, and sang: "Dreamy in the grass, with diamonds!", and had this dazzled look in his eyes as only scifers can have it. Yup.

Sharon Stone stood there (in one of her previous, younger incarnations, mind you!) in all her grace and glory, and shone. She shone so bright, so intense, so brightly intense and so intensely bright, that the stone molecules of Invert inverted -- and Invert became his human self again. Now, he wasn't stoned anymore -- he was SharonStoned [yeah, after that band, SharonStoned]. Won-dah-ful. Won-dah-ful!

This took Monkey's attention. He realized he wasn't a frog anymore. And he also thought that, since he came from a frog, it must be that he is a prince. For from frogs, only princes can come! And princesses sometimes. But now, there was Sharon Stone! The Monkey ran to meet her.

Arditezza the frog made herself on the long and lonely journey to the Druid. The secret way was dark and scary, but Ardi was brave and decisive. Nothing could stop her as she firmly walked ahead, with the red red ruby in her hand.

Ghosts were trying to stop her -- but they could not hurt her, as the red red ruby was protecting her. The way was dark -- but the red red ruby was shining a bright light that lead the way.

And so she came out of the secret tunnel, right to the Wood of the Druid, where the Druid had already waited for her. He was so happy to see Ardi safe and well!

As we have learned before, Ardi is a princess, who was put under a dreary spell, and only the red red ruby could break that spell. Yet how the red red ruby was to break that spell, only the Druid knew -- and Ardi had to overcome many obstacles to get the red red ruby and come to the Druid. But now, she was finally there. And the magic could begin.

The Druid, expecting Ardi, has summoned all the other Druids to come. He also summoned the Great Eagle to watch over them, and the Unicorn to speak to the Stars.

The red red ruby, as it has been passed through many hands in the course of time, had to be cleansed, before the magic could be done. For this, the Unicorn summoned the Stars to let down the Silver Mist -- and so they did. The Silver Mist collected on the feathers of the Great Eagle, glimmering in the shimmering light of the Stars. The eagle flew down to the Druid, who awaited him with the blossom of an Orchidea Caeli, which spontaneously grows when the only person to whom the red red ruby truly belongs is nearing -- and this was Ardi. The Druid lead the precious Silver Mist pour from the Great Eagle's feathers into the blossom of the Orchidea Caeli. There, the Silver Mist mixed with the delicious scent of the Orchidea Caeli, and made the purest liquid that is ever possible. In this liquid, the Druid washed and cleansed the red red ruby. After he did that, the liquid vanished, so as to not come into false hands and be abused.

It was night, the fires were burning and the Druids were standing in circle around Ardi and the Druid. The time was nigh. Exactly in the moment when the Stella Maris would touch the Stella Solaris, the Druid would have to place the red red ruby on the heart on Ardi's head. The Unicorn was watching the Stars, and the Druids were chanting The Song of the Eternal Bridge. Just before the stellar touch, as only he heard the Stars and knew when they would meet, the Unicorn slowly approached Ardi's head, so that the Druid could follow his movement and place the red red ruby on Ardi's head at the exact time. And so it happened! It was the right moment.

The light of the ruby magic was great, it enlightened the whole Wood, and it was as bright as the brightest day. The Druids could not see for some time, for the light was so bright.

After that, Ardi stood there in all her grace, a princess head to toe. The spell was broken!

She blinked a few times, and everything seemed to be moving in slow motion. She closed her eyes slowly and opened them again, hoping it wouldn't all disppear. Slowly around her, the forest and brambles sprung to life. She glanced outside the druid circle, and saw a beautiful woman in a long red velvet gown, who's arms outstretched to her. She embraced her mother warmly, and took ahold of the branches that reached for her, and bark became flesh, leaves became hair, roots became feet and her father stepped out of the darkness to embrace them both.

They stood there for awhile, and drank in the splendor of the glade. The beauty and majesty of the stars, and all the magic they held. It was the Druid who spoke first, stepping towards them, "Count and Countess. You are now returned to your former selves. The one condition being that you must stay within the magic of the glade, and never pass beyond it's boundries. To do so, would break the magic and you would turn to dust. The brownies and faeries have made a home for you here, furnishing it with all your needs, including books and things from your home. Arditezza is free to roam, now that she is free from the sins of your past. To leave the glade may bring Ardi great trouble, as the evil druidess spirit was expelled from her when the curse was broken. Remain here, and no harm can touch the Contessa."

The now aged couple nodded and ambled towards the home of branches and mud. It was beautiful, and they had done a fine job. Arditezza looked at the old druid, and he winked back at her. "You have your freedom, and you have restored some of the greatness of the forest. Remember to use your magic sparingly, most humans are afraid of such things. Go now."

Arditezza, not sure where to go to, walked back towards the Village to look for Rosie.

A shadow approaches the Village, stands for a few moments at the edge of the wood, watching, .....and is then attacked by a vicious squirrel whose acorn he'd been stepping on! With tiny claw- and bitemarks all about his face and neck he runs panicky into the center of the Village and screams: "What's going on here?!"

"What's going on here?!"

Hm, "That's a good question," I thought as I saw [What should we call you, Jubatus?] and heard him scream with distress in the middle of Scivillage.

Now, Scivillage is usually a quiet and peaceful place, as most of its residents are either immovably drunk from scirum, or lost on meadows giggling at butterflies (well yes, scipot has its flowery effects ...). The precious other few, remaining sane and well are working hard on the fields of Sci, toiling and striving, and in the sweat of their face they earn their scibread.

But today, Scivillage wasn't at its usual. All the Villagers were in the streets, and the sky was filled with a strange pink light, that seemed to have come out of nowhere, it lingered in the layers of the atmosphere ever so languidly and deliciously -- yet at the same time it gave rise to thughts that something strange was in the air, quite literally.

"What could it be ... what is going on," I wondered.
And just when that thought completed itself in my cognitive system, I saw a

(please continue)

I was still searching for a cure for Invert when I noticed that strange pink glow from outside. All the villagers were looking at the sky, the next thing I saw was a ray of bright light that struck Invert who was still transfixed in the middle of the village. (thought it was time to revive him)
Still dazed from that bright light I am unaable to see anything...

Arditezza walks back into the village, which seems to be a bit chaotic at the moment. A pink glow had enveloped the sky, and a bright light came from the middle of the village. Approaching the light cautiously, she sees a strange looking metallic ship has crashed into the very center. The door of the vessel has also been forced open, and there is a vibrantly coloured being standing amidst the rubble, and seem to be fussing over something small in its hands.

Thinking to herself that furry and fuzzy creatures are not harmful, she steps towards the being and extends her hand in greeting. The being looks at her, and seems transfixed on the small ruby that is permanently embedded in her forehead. She continues to move forward, until...

(keep going)

the furry fuzzy creature with a sudden motion, pull a cute little toy gun from its holster in his belt and started blasting Ardi with beams of light in a myriad of colors and sounds. Ardi stunned by this sudden and strange show of light and sound stopped in her track for a moment....

I had been drinking scirum in my hut all day and I started to get social needs. So I went down to scivillage center.

I thought for a second I had been drinking too much, because I saw what looked like two spaceships in the middle of the village square. But then I took a moment to focus and saw it was only one metallic ship.

I saw a stunningly beautiful woman from the back. I thought: yeah...i guess as soon she turns around it turns out the be a man and I have been admiring the ass of a man again. Why can't men have just short hair nowadays!'

But then I saw a strange furry creature in the dooropening of the metallic shiplike structure, which mght be called an UFO in a pseudoscience forum. It whipped out what looked like a toy gun and started blasting the beautiful woman with rays of light which looked stunned by it! I caught a glimpse of the side of her face. To my relieve it was a woman. To my distress....

IT WAS ARDI!!!!

NOOoooooooo...

I started running towards the spaceship gesturing wildly to the tiger to help me. Help me in what I was not sure, but nobody was going to blast my little froggie (well, not so froggie anymore) with a toy or space gun!

The tiger seemed unsure. It seemed mesmerized by the pretty colour display of the toy gun.

Ardi didn't seem hurt actually, but I was in such a frenzy that I didn't notice and tackled the furry creature and pinned it down to the floor of the spaceship. We were trashing wildy on the floor. I think it was saying something like: ''we come in peace'', but it could just have well been, 'you will never take me in one peace you shitface'. I was in a rage!

DAY208

I had been sleeping in my hut for the past three weeks admiring my beautiful precious. When I woke up this morning, I noticed something different. My precious was flying around my hut. I then proceeded to swat the hell out of it only to find out that my precious was nothing than a meer fly.

That damn frog! She tricked me. I ran out to the village center, and saw a strange spectacle. A number of the villagers were floating around the air in a strange trance under some sort of pink glow. This is not becoming. I grabbed my pitcher, and ran to river to fill it with water. I then scurried around the village center splashing everybody in sight.

They all woke up, and the pink glow disappeared. I was standing in the village center with the construction worker, the hunter, the tiger, the outcast, the moose, and some strange looking princess that looked and moved like a frog. Wait a minute. She used to be that same frog that I ran into a few weeks ago. I tell because of the familiar object on her forehead.

MY PRECIOUS!!!!

Without second thought, I immediately lunged. . .

She came to a bit, and saw someone lunging at her head. She stomped hard on the ground, and it rumbled heavily. From the ground sprung a very large set of roots that shot upward into the sky forming a strong and high branched tree with Arditezza on one branch and the spaceship on the other. Somewhere in the middle, Spurious was still wrestling with the little alien. She looked down at the man with a pitcher in his hands who was swearing and cursing at her about "my precious". She thought that was odd, as no one had ever called her precious before.

With great dexterity, she moved amoung the branches, trying to reach the gun the alien used on her. She wished her toes were still adept at tree climbing, but finally she reached it and headed towards monkey and the alien.

DAY229
All I could remember was this princess that looked like that frog stomping on the ground as I tried to recover my precious.
Everything else that happened after that was a blur.
I looked around the village, and it seemed as if somebody was building a great ark on the river, and shoveling animals into it two by two.
I moved in for a closer look. . .

It has been nice and quiet in scivillage. Sometimes I think a serial killer killed everyone in the village and left me alive because he wanted to frame me for the murders. A deranged outcast went beserk and killed everyone in the village, the headlines would read.

Or maybe I should get out of my hut and sober up a bit. Maybe there are still people around.

I think they are all gone, but I know where the tiger is, It's hidding in a nice warm cozy cave somewhere deep in the forest and only comes out to do what cannot be done insiden.
Ofcause one might think that hidding in a cave all day gets boring, but the cave is a special kind of cave, with its own food dispensor thingy, that seconds as a cleaning unit and a giant play room with a equaly giant ball of garn, which still remains undefeated,
