My guess is that Heppah think's he's right (assuming he really doesn't and this isn't just a show) because Heppah is perceptive of something in people. Perhaps he looks into the eyes of the people involved and sees something that only he would see and mistakelny labels his perception or rather his reflection upon his perception "a theory". This kind of evidence is difficult to overcome given that to him it must seem very real, direct from his personality - screaming to him "look here at this masturbator and their bad health". Heppah should realize - were he to "think so good" though, that this perception is personal and other people see things differently. The fact that others frequently and fervently repeat that it doesn't seem it that way should be a clear indicator to him, but he mistakes rejection of his analysis as rejection of his right to present the analysis. It would seem that a whole complex has developed around his inability to understand that his perception varies in this regard from that of others.

I'm not so sure that this isn't all an intentional joke and that H is merely trying to wind us up purely for fun. But no, if I were going to conduct an experiment to see how far I could convince critical thinkers into believig a nonsense then I would be as practical and subtle as possible, i.e. make myself sound believable. In religion we know the apologetics take this approach quite seriously. H has no subtlety and has not even begun to present anything in the least bit convincing, in fact quite the reverse.

What would be more interesting here is to try to understand what makes someone like H behave the way he does. Snakelord suggested homosexual but I don't think that is correct. You've said pretty much what I've said here. Note "assuming this isn't just a show". If it's not, I'd re-iterate what I said above and add that I've deduce it's an ego issue, whereby the conviction associated with his perception is irrational.

For a while I was thinking it's really Wanderer doing what he does best. I'm still not sure I'm wrong. I think snake mostly assumed homosexuality as a "reversal of jackass" (just to stick with the theme) tactic.

Regardless, I think many... oh so many people mistake their perception for objective reality as I was trying to say above. I'll most likely always contend that observational distance renders objective reality unknowable - and only faith in our perception provides a basis for our inherently subjective analysis. (as you probably know, because you know me to some extent, I'm not claiming "there is no reality without observation", simply that such a thing as "objective reality" cannot be directly accessed because of the whole stimulous -> thought thing)

As someone in the early years of their second half century I would just like to say Happeh is not typical of the older person. Some people are just gifted with stupidity at birth then nurture it as they grow old.

Oh I have so much respect for my paternal grandfather and maternal grandmother, they are the sweetest, most tolerant, caring people, and I want to be like a combination of them when i'm their age.

They appreciate young people (within reason) as opposed to constantly criticising them. They both admit they can learn things even at their age. They are both a true inspiration for how i want to age, and I tell them this sometimes.

My concern is that I seriously believe that happeh has demonstrated a number of traits of both (compensatory) narcissistic personality disorder, or paranoid personality disorders. Some children are resilient, independent, some are a lot more vulnerable, especially to adults like this.

Is there anyone else who believes either or both of these may fit the criteria demonstrated here?
