I certainly do not. I do not justify settlements, torture, or targeting civilians. It's just that Palestinians are fighting a very dirty war, and often force Israel's hand. I'm sure you would give up and leave your citizens to the slaughter, but I admire that Israel has not done that.

So what is your point? Israel isn't going anywhere. It is here to stay. However, the thing we might all take into account is how in the world, even with all the "assistance" that has been given, She is there at all. the odds were that the state should not be there now. So beyond all the behind-the-scenes charges and intrigue, I must say it is destiny.

How wrong you are. There is a difference between Zionism and the true reason Israel is there. Zionism is Human Pride, rather than the true belief that would sustain peace. I see your slant now, and your agenda.

Israel as a nation has (some) justification for its existence, present and past.
But Zionism, which created the state of Israel, and is at the heart of Israeli politics, is, and has been, using war, oppression and wholesale slaughter to ethnically cleanse Palestine and deprive Palestinians of their rights.

No nation on Earth would consider voluntarily disbanding itself so some people who tried to destroy them can destroy it from within. No one is that stupid. It's the only reason Israel isn't Lebanon, with it's warring religious factions. They had their civil war, let's not turn back the clock only to fight it again.
