If God created Man (as depicited in the Bible Quran and Torah) then we are all the sons of God, in my humble oponion.

Everyone is not "Sons of God", I hope you are, but the fact is everyone is not.
The bible tells a story of Eve being seduced by an animal controled by an evil spirit. - it's offspring still are today.
This is the man that planted evil seeds, and there was one who planted good seeds(God), but when they come up they were all together, ....tares and wheat...
The Angels said "shall we root them up now", and the master said "let them grow together untill the harvest, then bind the tares in bundles to be burned.... and gather the wheat together the garner.

This speaks of two different people "the children of the world" and the children of God"

I was metaphorically speaking

AS the first words of the christian Lords Prayer is "Our Father who art in heaven" Obviously God is not our physical father but our heavanly father.

Conspiracy to deprive Hamas of power: US, Israel in talks for re-election.

NEW YORK, Feb 14: The United States and Israel are discussing ways to destabilize the Palestinian government so that newly elected Hamas officials will fail and elections will be called again, the New York Times said on Monday quoting Israeli officials and Western diplomats.

The intention is to starve the Palestinian Authority of money and international connections to the point where, some months from now, its president, Mahmoud Abbas is compelled to call a new election. The hope is that Palestinians will be so unhappy with life under Hamas that they will return to office a reformed and chastened Fatah movement, the newspaper said.

The report which was posted on the newspaper’s website immediately elicited strong response from Hamas spokesman Mushir al-Masri who while condemning US and Israeli interference said: “The United States, which claims herself to be the mother of democracy, must respect the election results and the will of the Palestinian people,” Hamas spokesman Mushir al-Masri said.

geoff is right, of course Israel wants hamas out as they seem them as the biggest threat.

I rather Ironic as Hamas was backed by israel in the 80's as a threat to the PLO/Fatah. The Israeli's saw as hamas being born out of the Muslim brotherhood of Eygpt as a great conter Balance to Fatah, and were hoping that their they would indeed fight Fatah thus creating a civil war. this did not work out and now Hamas is Israels greatest annoyance in the Occupied territories.

It is not surprisng Israel wants them out as their suicide bomb tactics are evil, and anti islamic, and causes israel a few problems.

However israel's Killing of Palestinian Women and children is just as bad. Bearing in mind the absolute military superiorority of Israel.

However Hamas is not really a threat to israel, but is protrayed as this by israel to the outside world.

How can Qasam rockets compete with nuclear tipped ICBMs and cruise missles.

Sure it is - and they just want to drink Jewish blood.

What could be more reasonable than that?

LOL

why would they want that?

Would you tolerate some big guy occupying a large part of your backyard and claim that it is his?

firing Missiles into civilian buildings from Apache helicopters and F16's in the hope that a Hamas leader is there!! is probably quite terrifying to the innocent people in that block of flats.

Also a tank and bulldozer outside you house to destroy your house is again terrifying (in my opinion) Obviously geoff you must be quite fearless if you dont find that terrifiying.

Geoff the point here is that israel does just as many wickedly evil things as Hamas does, unless you regard all palestinians as suicide bombers and/or dare i say it all israeli civilains part of the israeli Military!!

And would Israelis fire anything at anyone if there weren't people firing rockets at them and sending suicide bombers among them?

I'm going to have to say: no.

And someguy: wishing for the political removal of Israel is not the same as "drinking Jewish blood" and you know it.

geoff

So why are their suicide bombers i would ask. Are you suggesting that the Palestinians are just doing ii cos they hate israelis so much or could it be about desparation or the seizure of land.

why geof in you infinite wisdom are the palestinians blowing themselves up and committing the 2 biggest sins in their religion.

Thanks Geoff,
i am always willing to look at new sources of information

I will check out the website over the weekend geoff and get back to you with my thoughts

Take care

"MEMRI is an invaluable source for anyone seriously interested in the Middle East."
-Professor Bernard Lewis (Anti-Islamic, Anti-Arab Bigot)

"[MEMRI is] The single most important resource for understanding what is happening in the Middle East today."
-Charles Krauthammer (Zionist Journalist)

"MEMRI, an invaluable research service."
-Thomas L. Friedman (Zionist NY Times writer)

"You know, you've got things in the Saudi papers running now that thanks to the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) we can read in English translation."
- FOX News (Most Anti-Arab, Anti-Islamic news station)

"I just checked my campus mail and found a letter in it from Colonel Yigal
Carmon, late of Israeli military intelligence, now an official at the
Middle East Media Research Organization, or MEMRI. He threatened me with a
lawsuit over blog comments I made at Informed Comment." - Juan Cole about his experience with MEMRI, can be found at Antiwar.com

Not quite balanced is it.

Friedman's a Zionist? Come on.

If you don't like what they publish, contact the embassies of the following nations:

Saudi Arabia
Syria
Jordan
Palestine
Iran
Iraq
Turkey
Libya

MEMRI can't publish what doesn't already exist.

Thanks.
