If you're unwilling to put forth even that level of thought, I'm not going to waste my time providing you with sources. Laws against recreational drugs, homosexual activity, bigomy, witchcraft (in the past), and on and on are the result of Judeo-Christian views of morality being forced upon everyone else.

This is essentially saying that if non-believers (idolaters) do not repent (convert to Islam) then kill them.

You see even you could NOT notice the complete verse in which Allah says:
''leave their way free to them; surely Allah is Forgiving, Merciful''

Sura 9 is interesting. Non-Muslims almost invariably quote verse 5 but leave out verse 4 and 6. Why? Because verse 4 says, "But the treatires are not dissolved with those Pagans with whom you have entered into alliance and who have you subsequently failed you in aught, nor aided anyone against you. So fulfill your engagements with them to the end of their term: for God Loves the righteous."

And verse 6 says, "If one among the Pagans ask thee for asylum, grant it to him so that he may hear the Word of God; and then escort him to where he can be secure."

So basically what has been done above is:

1. The background to each sura was shown. One cannot take a verse revealed for a battle and insist it is if for the daily affairs of Muslims.

2. It was shown how Non-muslims who wish to attack Islam, conveniently leave out verses before and after their quoted verse. Above, I have shown only one of the many examples.

29 Fight against such of those who have been given the Scripture as believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, and forbid not that which Allah hath forbidden by His messenger, and follow not the Religion of Truth, until they pay the tribute readily, being brought low.

30 And the Jews say: Ezra is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah. That is their saying with their mouths. They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. Allah (Himself) fighteth against them. How perverse are they!

and another,

122 And the believers should not all go out to fight. Of every troop of them, a party only should go forth, that they (who are left behind) may gain sound knowledge in religion, and that they may warn their folk when they return to them, so that they may beware.

123 O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty (unto Him).

124 And whenever a surah is revealed there are some of them who say: Which one of you hath thus increased in faith ? As for those who believe, it hath increased them in faith and they rejoice (therefor).

next thing. why would they reply? you made loads of allegations but no proof. no eveidence.

next, about islams goal to convert the world. look baboon. it is the goal of ALL religions to convert as many people as possible! not just Islam. thats the whole point of religion.

Islam doesn't force anyone to convert cos god says "there is no compulsion in religion". just look in history. at the Prophets time he LIVED PEACEFULLY with Non-muslims in HIS city (he ruled it). in the Muslim Empire (Arab and then later the Turkish) muslims also lived peacfully with non-muslim. now these Muslims had empires and armies they could call and they could of just killed these disbleivers (like the CHRISTIAN Queen Mary of britiain did to other CHRISTIANS who weren't in her branch of Christunaty, this is a historical fact! muslims and NON-muslims of britain will agree with this fact about Mary). in the end it was the NON-Muslims who killed the Muslims in Spain.

ALSO, these verses about killing disbelievers aren't telling muslims to kill ALL non muslims they are either of the following;

what should be done to peoplle who FIRSTLY oppress you (non non believers in general).
what the prpohet did at to the armies that fought him (so this isn't telling us to do it) so it is saying something that happened.

LOOK FOOL, there are hundreds of thousands of people who have memorised the ENTIRE quran by memory. at Tariwah prayers in Ramadan the ENTIRE quran is recited in front of 3 million people from all countires alike. if the verses were really like this dont you think someone would notice?

*God does not forbid you from showing kindeness and dealing justly withthose who have not fought you about religion and not driven you out from your homes. God loves just dealers. QURAN 60:8
the prophet FORBIDS soldiers to kill women, children, elderly, weak people and animals. do not betray, be excessive or kill newborns and their monters.

you are looking at Islam in its most outward form

after 9/11 conversiaon rates to Islam in Americans quad-droupled. why? becasue they saw superficailly that Islam was a "terror" religion this intrested them so they studied it more. then they found it as a "peace" religion
