As much as I hate Bush, I agree wholeheartedly with you on the point that it has become "fashionable" to dislike the guy. Sure, he truly is a terrible president (arguably the worst ever), both for Americans and non-Americans abroad. However, if you ask a lot of these Bush-haters why they hate him, they don't really offer a decent, educated answer. You shouldn't hate somebody just for the sake of fitting in; you should actually know the guy and learn about the things he has done.

??? How could i have been on the band wagon of hating bush when i disliked him before there was a band wagon effect of hating him. I have a very good idea of how our government is formed and how it is supposed to operate under the constitution now only if you did. I never posted any sources(so unless you hacked my comp which i doubt you have the ability to do you couldn't know that and secondly i get my info from many different sources very few of which are left wing blogs) so once again as usual for you your just blowing smoke every where to conceal the fact you either lack the knowledge or the wit to debate properly. I was a bright and involved 16 year old.
 
I love the U.S. for the freedom and democracy it stands for.
But the U.S. is slowly becoming a Socialist State with an increasingly growing government, higher taxes, and more social programs. Additionally, politcal correctness is limiting our freedom of speech, ideas, expression, and dumbing down our education. The U.S. is slowly evolving from a country built on personal responsibility to a country of government responsibility (at the taxpayers burden).
So as the U.S. moves further to the social & political left, it is slowly becoming something bad. Deceptively, leftists call their moves "the American Way", when infact it's really the "Socialist Way".

Because he appears as a trained/programmed/manipulated robot zombie not a president. I can't really hate the guy, I can't hate a puppet.
 
I love America and STILL like Bush. I am way further to the right than most. See any terrorist attacks here lately? I served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and have a no B.S. attitude when it comes to anyone attacking my country. I agree that liberals are slowly moving us towards socialism and destruction. No Obama for this voter or any other thinking person.

If USA feels it has the right to defend its "freedoms" thousands miles away from its shores, other people may feel the same way too. Therefore, to clothe a wolf of the American Imperial policies of the past 100+ year in the sheep's clothing of struggle between good and evil is quite hypocritical, to say the least.

You gotta love a country with a top-class comedian like GW in charge of the humour-the-rest-of-the-world department.

His latest joke appears to have been a little too subtle, for the other comics gathered at the latest laugh-fest (otherwise known as the G8 summit). He thought everyone else thought America's record on climate-change and pollution was hilarious.
Maybe it has to grow more on the other guys, who still don't seem to have got the punchline.
