Sorry , I meant scientific/statistical data.Simple data point - in the US, .025% of people are convicted of rape. If we assume that 1 in 4 people who commit rape are convicted of it, then ~.1% of people are rapists. Not all (or even most) of them are crimes caused by lust, so the number of people who commit rape because they cannot control their sex drive is significantly lower than that.
What do you mean by ''homosexual activity''?

OK: whatever Deity made humans the way they are made them unable to choose their prompts of sexually arousal.jan said:I'll have the theological one please.
? Control is a sex issue, and vice versa.nmn said:and psychologist have determined that rape is a control issue, not a sex issue
Correct. I wasn't claiming that .025% was 1 in 4. I WAS saying that if only 1 out of 4 people who commits rape is convicted, then the number of rapists goes from .025% to .1%. (.025 * 4 = .1).025% is not 1 in 4.

PhysBang,
There was really no need to open up a new can of worms, I just wanted to know how you defined homosexulal (HS) activity, as opposed to HS behaviour, as opposed to HS orientation
jan.
Really? You think that this opened a can of worms? It's just the facts that there is far, far more natural sexual activity than heterosexual human reproduction. Far more. You (and others) invoked "natural". That's why many of the things Christians say are crazy.
Yes, sometimes it is. Sometimes it is caused by lust.
No. Both heterosexuals and homosexuals have committed rape. Rape is not a sexual orientation, it is a crime. In those cases would you regard it as a sexual orientation?
jan:
you may have said so before, but my memory is wack..
where do you stand on homosexuality?
No. Both heterosexuals and homosexuals have committed rape. Rape is not a sexual orientation, it is a crime.
