Steven Hawking Claims God is Not Needed
This editorial cartoon in response to Steven Hawking's latest statement about creation was just too good to pass up.

Its funny cause i was among the FIRST to claim "black holes" do not exist. And, where is he now?

Americans need to rely on God for healthcare. lol! Yep. That'll solve everything. Imagine all the miraculous healings across America if people would only pray to Jesus! Doctors and hospitals would be put out of business.

This would be more effective if it was accurate. I guess some idiots will fall for it though.

Let's see if we can do better, shall we?

"Atheism: lacking a belief in gods.
Science: the belief that there was either nothing or perhaps something like a multiverse full of bubble universes colliding, then something happened to create our universe in a big bang which is backed by persuasive and copious scientific evidence, the reason for which is the subject of current research, creating everything; and then a bunch of everything rearranged itself for reasons of the laws of physics and chemistry into self-replicating bits, and then evolution and natural selection - verified scientific processes - led to the development of complex life which eventually evolved into dinosaurs (and every other form of life on Earth).

Makes perfect sense."

On the other hand:

"Theism: the belief that there was a magical God who came from nothing or always magically existed, and then who magically created the universe for no reason, and then magically made all kinds of different animals and stuff and magically made them all appear exactly as they would have if they had evolved naturally via evolution and natural selection, for no reason, and these included dinosaurs, which God killed off with a meteor for no reason long before human beings were around. Oh no, that's wrong. Dinosaurs and humans were on Earth together and the Earth is only 6000 years old despite all the scientific evidence pointing to an age of billions of years. And Fred and Wilma Flintstone weer based on real humans.

Makes perfect sense."

Or something like that? Gee, this is fun, isn't it?
