Corona Virus 2019-nCoV

Anyone with a pension plan is a shareholder.
Yep. See my links above, for who that is in the US.
Hint: they have much lower than average death rates from corona virus infection. They are not as vulnerable to shortages of equipment and medical expertise.

Union organizer isn't a pejorative as in your continued use of "troll" and "not the brightest bulb"
"Continued"? Whatever - -
It's also much less accurate.
Pejoratives are not the problem. Irrelevancies, falsehoods, inaccuracies, bs - your characteristic postings - are the problem.
Every argument seems to feature those who have nothing and who can do nothing for themselves.
Nonsense. That's your imposition of juvenile stereotypes on posts you seem unable to read for meaning.
Then there's the nonsense about not needing money vs investing on a time horizon longer than a few years. That's the responsible thing for anyone to do.
It's not a possible thing for most Americans to do. That's why they don't do it.
Companies exist because someone took a time horizon longer than a few years and because someone took some financial risks.
Of course.
Your point?
Viewpoint of an union organizer fits your viewpoint nicely. Why deny it
I'm not.
The problem is that you don't know what my viewpoint is, and you don't know what "the viewpoint" of a union organizer is. (A couple of sentences before, you have me as "union organizer thinking" that people can't do anything for themselves.)
When you have gathered information, and can make that comparison, I might be able to either accept or deny it. Until then, or until you have at least coordinated your various stereotypes so that they don't contradict each other, the only thing I can do is deride you for trolling and recommend you attempt posting on the matters at hand in the given thread.

You aren't very good at personal attack from complete ignorance of person. You deal in canned stereotypes rather than the evidence (however meagre) in front of you. You keep stepping on your dick. For that reason alone you should try a different approach - or, alternatively, for the enlightenment of discovering just how radical a change that would be, how difficult it is for your kind to engage in honest discussion.

It's possible, given the evidence here, that you cannot - physically cannot - post three times consecutively without wandering off into an attempt at personal insult. I have posted that observation before - nothing you've posted since casts any doubt on it.

Yet the same result in the lungs as H1N1
The docs say it's not the same.

Agreed

And the evolution of the virus its self . Which worries me more .

In China the research is old school . If I find the source of this research I will post it soon .
There is actually an awful lot of thinking going on about how important these challenges to our immune system are.
A form of deadly symbiosis where only those whose immune systems don't over react survive thus evolving a less reactive (irrational) and more active (intelligent) human immunology.
Think of it like this perhaps:
A paranoid immune system kills the host. ( over reaction)
A rational immune system saves the host.

re: psychoneuroimmunology.

and other

Have you ever posted 3 times consecutively without wandering off into an attempt at personal insult?

If it's so hard to know what your viewpoint is, you aren't very effective in your communication of that viewpoint are you?

Wondering off topic would be talking about the virus when the topic was financial risk.

We do admire your masterful manipulation of us for your amusement. You are special for sure.

Yes there are about 100 different ideas but this is about the immune system fighting it off .

But this research uses ;

To test whether the vaccine-generated antibodies would neutralize SARS-CoV-2, the research team collected samples from the mice and rats and exposed those antibodies to 10 different SARS-CoV-2 strains in test tubes. The distinct strains of SARS-CoV-2 were originally sampled from patients in China, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, and represent, "to some extent, the circulating populations" of SARS-CoV-2, according to the report.

End times must be coming; I’m leaning in agreement with iceaura.

I think he’s saying that many CEO’s don’t feel the same pain as the worker bees who made those said CEO’s, millionaires. Golden parachutes, anyone?

It is interesting, yet simultaneously various research teams around the world have huge doubts as to the lasting benefits of antibody development...
In other words the development of heard immunity is still a myth.
We can only hope to be proved wrong...and that a successful vaccine is indeed possible...

Do you feel the same pain as the person living on the street? What's new?

Do you think Bill Gates is a horrible person? Who are these terrible people that we are supposed to dislike so much? Is this just looking for a scape goat in troubling times?

That never ends well.

"Herd".

Was antibody development ever supposed to be "the" answer? There was always a time limit as well as the whole question of strains. The more strains the harder to control, even with vaccines.

Herd immunity only kicks in around 60%-70% inflection rates. Do we have that anywhere?

What is highlighted in my post # 1484 , QQ , is to me very , very significant .
Personally I tend to believe that the greatest gain can be got by developing therapeutic treatments that prevent the need for ICU treatments.
For example:
The French government are currently assessing the stats that highly suggest that Nicotine is helpful in minimizing hospitalizations.
They have even had to place limits of store purchases of nicotine supplements that are commonly used to help smokers withdraw from their addiction to tobacco.

Its not herd immunity , its the ability to stimulate the immune system to fight off the virus , its self .

Which to me is the better way to go in the long run .

They are finding only now that antibodies are present in a huge number of people. That the majority of the population has been exposed to the virus. In percentage terms it is yet to be qualified.

Interesting , since I'm a smoker . And nicotine is used as a chemical in farming as a pesticide .

Apparently it is significant so we look and wait with baited breath ( excuse the pun)

There is also the calming effect of smoking that needs to be considered and just how much respiratory fear (paranoia) plays in this pandemic..

Note:
Nicotine is also associated with Niacin, Vitamin B3.

Disagree

the paranoia is real because nobody knows how they themselves will personally react to the virus .

? They set their own hours, of course. Nobody called them on Friday nights to tell them when to report on Saturday and how many hours they would be permitted to work, or docked their stock options for showing up ten minutes late.
Ah, trying to walk back your claim!

You said "Show me the upper level exec who got sick because their sleep schedule was frequently jacked around on less than a day's notice." I showed you two. I flew with Irwin Jacobs on those last minute flights to the UK. And Brandon did indeed get sick after flying to the UAE on twelve hour's notice - partly because he was in a middle seat near the back of the plane with several sick people near him.

If you want to change the topic, perhaps start a different thread?
That's kind of obvious. Are you ok? You seem confused by this entire issue.
Since you can't even remember what you asked two posts ago, I'm a little concerned about you. Is your memory going?
Meanwhile, you and Seattle need to get your little junior high playground stories straight - this guy organizing unions in his mother's spare bedroom: apparently he thinks like a union organizer while being an elitist snob, and is looking down his nose at somebody while derogating those above him: who? Is it the people with 401k investments who need the money, those without who need the money, those with who don't need the money, or those without who don't need the money?
You're going into the weeds here.
Maybe it's more than one girl, more than one nose -
Yep. Definitely in the weeds.

If you are trolling, perhaps try another thread.
If you are having memory/focus issues, perhaps see a doctor.

Do you feel the same pain as the person living on the street?

The climb to the top, or some part of the way, is more painful than any worker bee will ever know.

Try working 18 hour days to save your business ( which means everything you own) and knowing you are not only trying to save yourself and your family but the jobs of those who work for you then although you are near collapse smile and show everyone, family, friends, staff, bankers, clients and customers that everything is just fantastic.

And quit...well no you just can't quit...the lease...the overdraft...the clients and staff who depend on you to make everything work.
