Whatever problems the USA has with its own citizens is a problem for the the USA.
It shouldn’t have to deal with illegal aliens invading its borders.
 
Any practical consolation to the likelihood that Trump did not win the popular vote when all votes have been counted?

He cannot use that to claim that kind of a mandate anyway(as he surely would if he had achieved that)

I did a ride-a-long with the San Diego County Sheriff's Office back in the '80s. We dropped a couple of guy off at Emigre and I went for a look. That evening's 'take' was 800+, and it wasn't dark yet.

I think he will win the popular vote. He may not ultimately get more than 50% of the vote, but he will have won it. And Harris will be far closer than was suggested on election night.
Trump will do what Trump does: he claimed a strong mandate when he lost the popular vote in 2016, and then denied Biden had a strong mandate when Biden won the popular vote by 7 million in 2020. Hopefully the mainstream media will take note and push back against claims of him having a "strong mandate" this time round. But I doubt they will.
