The way I see it is that people like Jan, become highly indoctrinated, and their zeal and their overlords, prompts them to come to a science forum [where in their eyes, us evil Atheists congregate] to attempt to down play and deride certain aspects of science, so they can then say "there I told you so!" when in all reality they have shown nothing. It's difficult to knock into their little brains, that the biggest plus for science is that generally scientific theories remain theories, and always ready and willing to be modified, scrapped or added to. As evidence and certainty gather, a theory becomes more and more certain, until in the case of Darwinism and the theory of evolution, it can be reasonably and logically deemed a fact.
He then plays the victim and complains we are all ganging up on him. I wonder how a church congregation would act, if I walked in and started to blaspheme the name of their deity? Jan [as it is with other evangelists] in my opinion gets orgasmic pleasure out of this sort of white knight crusade.

But surely you must be aware that your continued rhetorical railing against Darwinism and the theory of evolution, is simply not accepted by the vast number of scientists out there. Well I am back in my van.

I thought I had the fever but silly me I had on a jumper and when I looked the temp in here is 34 degrees C...

As to being brain dead...

For years when younger I was a handful for every one around me... not my parents they understood I was a little different but supported me nevertheless..but for my employers, my ladies, my friends and later my staff.

Clients were lucky because I was nevertheless decent which I found somewhat unique in law and in real estate so they really had a champion on their side. I ended up with a rather faithful following which in the end was too much for me..looking after so many people near destroyed me.

I finally realised I used words no one could understand, set work loads that others could not manage, and in general a control freak.

Finally I was blessed, in my lose sense of the word, to see myself as others saw me, not quiet a Sheldon but similar in so far as I had no emotion and my expectation of myself, the world and others was that of absolute perfection.

That's why now I am casual about grammar spelling and expression..although I love to use got etc to act the fool. I rather that people look down on me than go back to being feared by everyone,,does that make sense..to you?

I resolved to use words that everyone could understand, I decided that perfection was not necessary for most things and moreover set out to deaden my brain somewhat such that I could converse with others on their level..I know that sounds arrogant but it is difficult for me to outline how perfection was really a bad thing.

Then I was blessed with a little daughter and I had to explain the world simply and plainly such that she could understand... That helped so much.

So brain dead to me has an interesting meaning as it merely reflects my determination to respect others Jan.

You now have the advantage of not having to sidestep my thrusts if I forget myself and make a couple... I know you have a belief in something and I confess I am not sure what it is but it is sufficiently opposed to my normal that you spark my interest.
