Zionist piracy

The ones with dead civilians and activists are even harder to find. They are finally marking where certain mass POW graves are, as those who attacked the USS Liberty had feared would happen way back when, in '67. But you know what? Someone will eventually post a .kmz file with which we can simultaneously view (if we want) the precise locations in Google Earth of the al-Arish executions, the Israeli attack on of the Liberty and all the injustice ashore that the Gaza Boatlift will reveal. A lot of people are just beginning to get a closer (and wider) look at Israel, Zionism, ethnic criminality, and highly-militarized apartheid.

Israel was fighting for all of palestine.
Nonsense.
Well they certainly did get 100% of the Sinai and 99+% of the Negev Deserts by fighting. (The Bedouins do live in less than 1% of the Negev in the concentration camp "cities" Israel has provided.) It is the worst part of the Negev, according to Israeli evaluation, no water and very poor soil. - Why the camps were built there.

Not to mention that every war since 1948 has been started by Israel and fought outside Israel whatever the definition of Israel at the time. Even in 1948, the Arab states restricted themselves to Mandate Palestine, while the Israelis poured over the 1948 borders.

the atrocities documented in this thread are astounding
i now have no choice but to hereby declare israel a failed state and urge an occupation by the un

a quick aside........
“Solomon Islands, one of Australia’s nearest neighbours, is a failing state”, declares the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) in a report to the Australian Government. For the sake of Australia’s interests and the interests of regional and global security Australia must intervene, says the ASPI report. Australia must take over and reconstruct the institutions of governance and the economy of the Solomon Islands. (link)
....funny stuff eh? infact it might be most if not all nations of micro/macronesia that have been deemed failures by Imperial Australia

It is within Israel's capacity to conduct their affairs as a successful state respectful of human rights. Israeli reform will likely require for its motivation more than a coordinated international effort (a change of heart) but courageous relief and publicity for Gaza is a very good new start.

Post fail.

do not fear. i promise humane treatment....

While in Israeli custody I, along with everyone else was subjected to endless abuse and flagrant acts of disrespect. Women and elderly were physically and mentally assaulted. Access to food and water and toilets was denied. Dogs were used against us, we ourselves were treated like dogs. We were exposed to direct sun in stress positions while hand cuffed to the point of losing circulation of blood in our hands. We were lied to incessantly, in fact I am awed at the routineness and comfort in their ability to lie, it is remarkable really. We were abused in just about every way imaginable and I myself was beaten and choked to the point of blacking out… and I was beaten again while in my cell. (link)

Thanks for the interesting link Gustav. Pulse Media is a new news bookmark for me.

Apologists for Israel will have it much easier to just stay away from the entire Gaza Flotilla story.

G-a-n-d-h-i. I made the mistake too, a few years ago. (Sam corrected me).

 I remember a childhood friend who called some Indians "gahundi" and I never figured it out (?) until now.

Fortunately tough Iranian talk (about Iranian naval involvement) is most often only that- you could say that Iranian government "revolutionaries" like to troll the threads of headlines for a chance to pretend special relevance. A naval confrontation between Iran and Israel isn't going to do anyone any good, including the activists who have organized this boatlift. Of course, Iranians participating as individuals in solidarity with the Free Gaza Flotilla would no doubt be welcomed, and helpful to the international movement to break the siege.

And as the UN Security Council prepares a fresh round of sanctions against Iran (on grounds of alleged nuke high jinks), we are still waiting for a substantial condemnation of Israeli (nuked to the teeth) action on the high seas.

More than a little farsical. :m:

not entirely true in 48 Egypt and Syria enter "Israeli territory" so you have one effective army that did invade. the Syrians were equipped with world war 1 era weapons(thus in the minds of people like buffaloroam and spock had better equipment that the Isralis who mostly used early to mid ww2 equipment with some late war stuff) and thus were more or less irrelevant)

They did not, they entered Mandate Palestine. They never entered Mandate Israel 1948. The nakba started a good six months before the declaration of statehood. Ethnic cleansing is an act of war.
