Jesus would know and live in the same kind of time frame as you and I. He would perceives time as you and I do.

He has been gone, to some, and to himself, for 2000 years. To others, who see Jesus as an archetype, much longer. Back to Egypt and Sumer. I am of this group and see Jesus born in the 4th millennium BC. That or he was what, the 7th bastard son of God. God forbid.

The God I know is a good God and I recognize that you think your God is a good God as well.
I want to highlight here that the word God also represents your political God as defined as whatever set of rules you follow day to day. Atheists can thus have a God without it being an insult, as well as all other peoples.

Defining the word good, in God’s absence, is quite the chore as our self pride tries to make us all lower case g Gods. A good thing.

I suggest that God and Jesus are progressively less good and more cruel, over time, if he or they do not reappear. That would be immoral and God cannot be immoral.
That confirms to my mind, that reading Jesus as an archetype, is the right way to read scripture. Otherwise, Jesus and or God, are shown to be immoral constructs.

I suggest that God and or Jesus, real or not, have broken their covenant with mankind.

As we speak, 6 million starve to death yearly. 1 holocaust per year my friends. No God or Jesus who wants to be seen as having relevance, kindness or mercy for mankind, would be waiting in the wings as this and other carnage ravages the human race. No way.

Dreams can come to reality for a united peoples. Religion, as can be clearly shown, are into division, not unification. For them, it is always the old tribal mentality of us and them.

There are no laws, there never have been. There has only been the collected wisdom of the ages, to be taken or rejected. This wisdom has been imparted so that one may know how to better come in harmony with the "tune" or melody that the universe is playing.

To be out of tune is to strike discord and feel pain. It has always been the choice of the individual.

Granted, many conductors have come and gone. And here on the board, many arguments and squabblers occur over such things called "religion," but the final aim, is to teach the soul to come into harmony with the melody of the universe. It matters not which composers and conductor you study under.

It is my view that all literalists and fundamentals hurt all of us who are Religionists.
They all hurt their parent religions and everyone else who has a belief. They make us all into laughing stocks and should rethink their position. There is a Godhead but not the God of talking animals, genocidal floods and retribution. Belief in fantasy is evil.

You must read the books individually (including gnostic and non-canonical), seek out what authors wrote what (some are attributed to the wrong authors) and find out the truth. Hell, King James was a homophobic, homosexual, elitist who had to write a bible that endorsed divine right . . . what kind of bible do you think he was going to produce?

I really think that if the Department of Homeland Security authorized a bible, some Americans would gladly adopt it as the official bible. Some spiritual seekers. . . they forget what it means to seek the truth, and just listen to authority. Did Jesus ever do that? Did the Buddha do that? No, they told you to go find out for yourself. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY.

The new paradigm REQUIRES that all should be personally responsible for the evolution of the earth. Otherwise, there will be a new dawning of a dark age upon humankind.

Leaders lead us to one place only. . . to the grave. Jesus never wanted to lead. The Buddha never wanted to lead. They wanted you to stand up and learn how to walk on your own.

The major problem with Christians? For centuries they have misunderstood this, they would rather wallow in helplessness that truly read what the Christ was saying and cry out, "help me, help me, save me lord." As long as they do? He won't. For he said. . . God will only help those who help themselves. They go around the planet trying to convince everyone else to be a victim as well, mucking everything and everyone else up as well. "Declare Jesus as your personal lord and savior." Disgusting.

No, he came here to teach you how to free yourself from Caesar, the money changers, and everyone else. Declare YOURSELF your own personal lord and savior, and he will come back and rule his kingdom in the form of a "Christ consciousness."

Believe it. Buddha said the same thing. It's in revelations too. If we don't? The baddies win, game over, and we start over again.
