Dude, I know... and for the Round of Sixteen there are just so many match ups that are guaranteed to be exciting as all hell.

I mean... c'mon... Portugal vs Spain is going to be NUTS. The entire Iberian Peninsula is just going to come to an absolute standstill. I guarantee just about everybody who can is going to take the day off from work to watch the game.

Brazil vs Chile and Argentina vs Mexico are going to be equally interesting, and so will England and Germany.

Tomorrow though, is the only game I truly care about, United States vs Ghana. Going straight to the bar with my buds, and we're going to just sit, drink and cheer on our team!

What they ARE implementing very well however, is calling off-sides when players aren't actually off sides. Ask anybody from Italy or the United States about that. So in reality I guess it'd be better to say that they're implementing off-sides poorly as well.

i'm not sure how offsides works in soccer. Is it more like lacrosse(to many people in the attacking zone) or like hockey(the scoring object must precede the offensive players into the attacking zone).

The offensive player can't be in front of the opponent's defensive player that is farthest back.

Oh, and you can't be offside in your own half. Or from a goal kick, corner, or throw-in, or if you're behind the ball when it's played.
