That's because the west keeps middle eastern teams from qualifying for the world cup because it's more important to fund weapons projects that murder innocent civilians than........

Torres' only contribution was a dive, very poor. Spain look ok but not exactly world beaters.

Chile will take it to Brazil, can't wait for that one.

does anyone else think players should be yellow carded for flopping on the ground like they have been shot with an elephant gun when someone else so much as breaths heavily on them.

Video refs would sort out the diving, theatrics and all that crap. FIFA won't allow it so we'll just have to make do with gullible referees.

Some of the cards handed out this year have been disgraceful. Refs not even seeing a supposed incident yet carding a player anyway, presumably based on the rolling and screaming victim and the gesticulations of his team. Pathetic.

The English ref Howard Webb has been the best that I've seen so far, not taking any crap from the diving Italians.

There is actually a rule against that, and it can result in an insta-red card... it just doesn't seem like they're implementing it very well.

What they ARE implementing very well however, is calling off-sides when players aren't actually off sides. Ask anybody from Italy or the United States about that. So in reality I guess it'd be better to say that they're implementing off-sides poorly as well.
