I'm pretty sure Dempsey was thinking he had a target painted on his back at some point. They fouled that poor guy so many times... and he never stayed down.

That was the most absurd foul I think I've seen.
 
Ghana played better then the USA, IMO. I wanted to see the USA do well but you have to be pleased that an African team have gone to the quarter finals.

Only for 'Uruguay - Korea Republic' and 'USA - Ghana', as both games had already either started or were already finished at the time of your post.

You predicted some draws though. In the round of 16 there cannot be any draws.
If you think one of the teams will win by means of penalty shootout you'll have to indicate that.

I think it's fair to say both at 1966 and 2010 the best team won.

no, not really .... everybody here knows the term "wembley-goal", but i´m sure that only really few people wanted revenge for that :)
on the other side, it is good that this not given goal happened today - so nobody can complain anymore.
