You're the poster boy for what is stated in the opening credits of the X-Files,"TRUST NO ONE", because if trusting jesus turns me into the pitiful-bible-quoting-can't-think-for-myself-never-in-my-life-had-an-original-thought that you're projecting yourself to be, than I'll remain on this side of the issue. If you believe everything that you read, believe this, god does not exist.

I can't believe that christians have the audacity to question why atheist don't convert. After seeing how most of them act from this point of view, we don't want to be that thoughtless and join them. We enjoy thinking for ourselves. The bible is the ultimate "DO AS I SAY, NOT AS I DO" mentality.

What proof do you have of this universe not being created? I am very interested in your thoughts. Or if you believe this unviverse was created by aliens then who created them and so on. I am looking for proof.

There is no point in channeling demons.
You're the loser in that.
 
Channeling demons is allowing demons to speak using your voice, or in this case, allowing them to use your fingers to type.

Some people go into a trance to do that.
Others are so controlled by demons that there is no need for a trance, they speak or write what they think of as their own thoughts, but the thoughts come from the demon.
Yet others have no clue, they wake up somewhere with huge blocks of time missing from their lives.

Hi 'Banshee'! I was away, playing around with HTML commands on another site! And computer was down. But I am back in & out and will make a statement to the Glory of GOD! "for I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power [of GOD] to them that believe, to the Jew first and also unto the gentiles," (we, who are not Jewish, are 'gentiles.') Not to be ashamed of the TRUTH of GOD's word, for it is TRUTH! And man is limited, and does not want the 'truth' to lord over him, but it is good for a well ordered society as ours, and I have confirmed, that it would not be a free nation if it was not for the word of GOD (the Bible). But about god we really do have different meanings.

We are NOT created by god. There is no heaven or hell you go to. We are all energy's from the Cosmos. We exist because we materialise our energy into a physical form here on Earth.

You say you are made to gods likeness. I hope you are not. Look at the world. Is this what your god wants. All these wars in the name of religion, the name of god. The only differences are the rules made up by catholics, protestants, jews and even moslims, for allah is the same god. Only with a different name and a different name for the bible. Don't you see that? You all worship the same god........Why do you have so much different rules? Why? And why do you all believe that there is such thing like hell? Why? Does your god want you all to believe you will burn in hell if you don't live after his word, or what do you call it.
Crazy, your god is the most cruel creation by humans they have ever made up. The bible is a book of symbols and horrible story's what will happen if you do not believe in your 'loving' god.

We are creations of the Cosmos, to where we return after this earth-bound body gives up. Your Deeper Self will return there. It never leaves you. Life after life it stays with you. I too, am looking for proof. In MY opinion however, I feel more proof has come from the scientific side of the arguement. Things I can see, feel, taste, and smell. I myself cannot accept the things written in the bible. Inconsistencies that you need FAITH to accept. In other words believe simply because it is written.

As far as the alien theory, I don't remember if it was in this thread or another but someone once said that no other life can exist in the universe because the chances of conditions being perfect on another planet is highly unlikely. Who's to say that other life could not have adapted to their environment as we have adapted to ours. Life here is carbon-based but that may not be necessarily true or need to be on another planet. We have many universes in space, assumptions of that complexity cannot and should not be made.

I have said before show me REAL proof and I'll probably be the first to convert, but until then I will follow the scientific approach to life on this planet. Space, at one time was believed to be heaven, we now know thanks to science this is not true. What more will we learn to be false? Many "religions" have since became myth, i.e. Paganism, Greek Mythology both come to mind.

BTW I spent 2 months in Darwin, great place would love to live there....Perhaps one day.

Sorry to inform you tony1, but the missing blocks of time, they have nothing to do with demons.

Alien abduction is the reason behind the missing blocks of time. They return you but not at the exact time you were taken. The demon idea is the christian interpretation of the event. Odd looking creatures, strange speech, blackouts and missing time had to be explained some kind of way. The churches don't recognize aliens as real so they made demons out of them.

Just like there's no such things as ghost but we have spirits, or souls according to the bible. Why can't they get trapped on earth because of unfinished business, not "good" enough for god but too "good" for satan, not "their time", etc? Ever hear of the word pergutory(sp?), I think that covers the above statement.

In this case GOD will have to reveal Himself to you by the power of the Holy Spirit of GOD. You can not see Him in the natural! But He has ways if that is His will for you! He is very real 'DevilDog', and it is even possible through Faith in His Son Jesus, can even have fellowship and even friendship with the Almighty one!

Can be said because of 'all' existence around you! I and others have stated that GOD is far above all time and space and dimensions, and have never had no beginning and no ending! 1: To fornicate and continue descendants.
2: To survive, in anyway possible.
3: To eat when your hungry, drink when your thirsty and use the loo before you make a mess on the floor.

As for your God, do you realise he knocking on a bit, he would have already collected 31 UB40 pension booklets, and be a 1/4 of the way through getting his 32nd.

The reason you have no clue to how he looks, if you haven't seen someone in a long time you will notice they have aged, I think you might noticed he's aged with Carbon dating.
