But about god we really do have different meanings.
We are NOT created by god. There is no heaven or hell you go to. We are all energy's from the Cosmos. We exist because we materialise our energy into a physical form here on Earth.
The Word of GOD have said that we are created in the image of GOD by GOD, and He is the Creator and Sustainer of the entire universe, and all that existed before and now and forevermore He is GOD your creator and sustainer, of life , the one and only 'author of life it self', and life, contrary to popular scientific beliefs, life can never come of age of it's own! Billions of years things tend to breakdown, not assemble themselves out of nothing on it's own, all is the work of not only 'super-intelligence', but the 'SUPREME BEING' has done this with the spoken word! So we have a higher purpose and meaning then of any of the animal kingdom, we were created by GOD the Almighty for His Glory and good pleasure! In His image, that is we have reason, and emotions etc. And created to fellowship and commune with Him as a Father and His children, and loving servants to the Lord in the Highest! We are not some super-monkey that crept up from the primordial-ooze Billions of years ago! If so our lives are meaningless, and just an incidental poop!
You say you are made to gods likeness. I hope you are not. Look at the world. Is this what your god wants. All these wars in the name of religion, the name of god. The only differences are the rules made up by catholics, protestants, jews and even moslims, for allah is the same god. Only with a different name and a different name for the bible. Don't you see that? You all worship the same god........Why do you have so much different rules? Why? And why do you all believe that there is such thing like hell? Why? Does your god want you all to believe you will burn in hell if you don't live after his word, or what do you call it.
Crazy, your god is the most cruel creation by humans they have ever made up. The bible is a book of symbols and horrible story's what will happen if you do not believe in your 'loving' god.

GOD is a Holy GOD and sin most be judged or there will never be order in the universe and peace on Earth and good will to men! Read the book of 'JOB' in the Bible if you are not afraid, and see that GOD is the only one who has created us, we humans are very spacial in the universe and we are not 'monkey bone', we are: Mind, Body, Soul (immortal soul), and spirit (immortal spirit). Not like unto the animals, but a creature that was created a little lower then the Angels! Although we are a fallen race, (mankind) through Jesus, we have an advocate with the Father GOD above the Heavens, and because of what JESUS did on Calvary 2000 years ago, He paid our sin dept and we can come to GOD through His Son Jesus who 'is' GOD and He in Spirit can live in me! And any that will call on the name of the Lord with an sincere heart, they shall be saved! GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, is the Spirit of truth and love, and is very real! Beware the time is coming fast!
We are creations of the Cosmos, to where we return after this earth-bound body gives up. Your Deeper Self will return there. It never leaves you. Life after life it stays with you. It wasn't too bad really. I chose my atheism a very long time ago. I was confirmed out of respect for my family, but that was the extent of my church experience. The worst part of it was that you couldn't buy alcohol between 10pm-7am monday through friday, or saturday 10pm-monday 7am. Sunday was no alcohol purchases what so ever., Unless you drove 20 min south of town to a different parish(county). But then again moonshine was available if you knew the right people.
