why do you believe then to be facts offered?
Are you not responsible for what you take on board or not take on board as fact?

The point IS that the posters often present their opinions as facts and then in follow-up, continue to argue their opinions as now proven and accepted "facts", when indeed they ARE NOT!

I DO NOT believe the(n)m to be factual simply because they are proposed as such and I quite often disclose such. I believe it more encumbent upon the 'poster' to present and clarify information as opinion versus fact so that the bulk of readers is not persuaded by nonfactual information The dishonesty of posting opinions as fact is seldom admitted by those with an agenda to promote. My prior comments regarded your use of "In fact" when that is not necessarily the case - only your opinion. More diligent use of the IMO, or IMHO acronyms might help distinguish "facts" from "opinions".

In the absence of any one prepared to make what appears to be an obvious diagnosis and the fact that I am not actually making a diagnosis but stating an opinion of his symptoms I don't see an issue.
Do you wish me to stop expressing an opinion?

The American Health professionals are letting the USA and by default the world down terribly

Your use of the word 'obvious' and using medical terminology indicates a diagnosis

'He's as nutty as a fruit cake' is an option

Stop expressing an opinion? Never. Keep going.

Putting your diagnosis / opinion above American health professionals?

Finish my thoughts / opinion yourself

No, in my opinion, he is suffering from a severe form of NPD. The evidence to support actual dysfunction are able to be determined by the outcomes of his decisions.

One American commando was killed and three others were wounded in a fierce firefight early Sunday with Qaeda militants in central Yemen, the military said on Sunday. It was the first counterterrorism operation authorized by President Trump since he took office, and the commando was the first United States service member to die in the yearslong shadow war against Al Qaeda’s Yemen affiliate.

Members of the Navy’s SEAL Team 6 carried out the surprise dawn attack, and the military said that about 14 Qaeda fighters were killed during a nearly hourlong battle. A Qaeda leader — a brother-in-law of Anwar al-Awlaki, the American-born cleric and top Qaeda leader in Yemen, who died in a drone strike in 2011 — was believed to have been killed.

After initially denying that there were any civilian casualties, American officials said they were assessing reports that women and children had died in the attack.

The military’s Joint Special Operations Command had been planning the mission for months, according to three senior American officials. Obama administration aides had deliberated extensively over the proposed operation, weighing the value of any information that might be recovered against the risk to the Special Operations forces plunging into hostile territory. But administration officials ultimately opted to hand the decision on the mission to their successors.

Opinion: ( just for Karenmansker - this is only an Opinion)

The reported fact that they were involved in a fire fight for as long as "nearly hour long" indicates that what ever plan they had failed to capitalize on their "surprise" advantage. Reports of possible women and children being collateral will probably disappear under the white wash about to start.

I don't think we can read anything into the Yemen story. This is just part of the new "War on Terror". Unlike Trump's current plan to ban immigrants from certain countries and Bush's decision to go into Iraq, this is the kind of thing our military will legitimately be doing for years to come I suspect.

OK

Your opinion he is suffering from a severe form of NPD

Not just NPD but a severe form

and

The evidence to support actual dysfunction are able to be determined by the outcomes of his decisions

So no evidence in support of actual dysfunction we have wait until actual dysfunction are able to be determined by the outcomes of his decisions

Can you please explain which outcomes would provide evidence of actual dysfunction?

Perhaps first provide
which decision
would lead to
which outcomes
which leads to
evidence of
actual dysfunction

From my limited knowledge of the workings of diagnosis I cannot think of any diagnosis which relies on evidence by the outcome of the patients decisions

On another note, I don't think the Trump administration is going to be happy with the optics on this one. Two vehicles destroyed, one SEAL dead, three wounded, thirty casualties, and it turns out Iranian propaganda is turning to an Australian ... well, I don't know quite how to describe him―conspiracist? revisionist? potsherd?―to denounce the raid as some manner of disgrace, and I'm not certain which irony stands out more, that Iran had to reach that low, or that Trump is catching flak from conservative (on the American spectrum) tinfoilers.

Politically speaking, I wonder just how badly this can go over. Who will Trump tweetrage against? What will Sean Spicer's twitching freakout look and sound like? Did you catch that line from Noah about Conway tasting the shit in her mouth? What the hell will the former family values advocate who now rejects Jesus Christ himself come up with next?

well what forces doctors to a diagnosis of any mental disorder?

well what forces doctors to a diagnosis of any mental disorder?

Not sure anything forces a doctor to any diagnosis of any disorder

Some mental disorders (to narrow it down to your specialist opinion fancy) can be diagnosed easy by students in the field because they are ones taught early and are very prevailing

Others take years of extreme close up study of and contact with the patient

Nutty as a fruit cake takes 30 seconds

suffering from a severe form of NPD

I suspect falls between easy and very hard

However now having answered your questions lets return to mine

Can you please explain which outcomes would provide evidence of actual dysfunction?

Seriously, what you ask is actually really difficult to put in words that you would understand.
However I will consider it for a while and post again later ( if I could be bothered) a because the German people faced a similar vexation when confronted with Hitlers behavior.

As a start but no where near finished....
When it comes to people in power ( a King, an Emperor a President etc.) The symptoms of his illness manifests in what he does with his power.... and how he repeatedly justifies his actions in ways that would be considered as lacking in sound logic and reason by any reasonable court of law. It is not just that one or two occasion's but irrational power use would need to be repeatedly demonstrated that strongly suggests a compulsive pattern....

but hey I will get back to you later if I feel up to it...
Thanks for the opportunity...

Legitimately?

What exactly are the US "legitimate" interests and military objectives in Yemen?

OK I get that

I will grant his style is not the norm (if there is a norm) for a POTUS

However that does not equate to ANY mental disorder

I can agree you have a opinion of his mental state

Main problem I have is the disconnect here

Perhaps first provide
which decision
would lead to
which outcomes
which leads to
evidence of
actual dysfunction

which would never result in any sort of diagnosis even for Kim Jong-un

Now there's a fruit cake to keep a herd of psychiatrist going for eons

Agrees!

However I think the American Mental Health professionals can also form an opinion, and as an organization voice their concerns (not as individuals) in a way that would be useful to the American people and the world generally. Even if they simply recommend that Trump attends a psychiatric assessment.
