What does that tell you? The knowledge of seeing your own mom automatically makes your mind take a different approach to how you view them sexually. Thus, erections aroused from seeing immediate family is very strange and uncommon. At least, in normal households.
I think you must be a teenager, right?

Oh boy. As far as I know, it exists in a non-trivial proportion of normal young humans.

Sheesh.
 
Also, it appears to be far more common in males than females, which may explain some of the blank stares we're getting from the females here.
