I have got the nature of light sorted, I understand it, I understand the constants involved and know that the space between your hands is clear space , a constant to all observers of clear,I also know that my hands are another constant by having a constant value exchange rate with the constant clear of light.

In my mind Einstein was saying that the speed of light constant makes an observable clear constant and we see spectral constants/colours, the individual wavelengths only by interference and the constant speed rate being changed by interaction with matter or a medium created a non-passive rate of exchange, 400nm is a constant rate.
