I don't avoid the truth, I leave that in your capable hands. That's at least something you excel at.

As I said earlier, why would I answer nonsense?
Because the answer is really tricky, you can not answer and say white light because the space is clear, we see no entangled spectrum and white light or any light in that space, so if you know the answer can you please share because, I , my gf, my children all agree we see a nothing , a clear space.

Hold an empty hand out and ask any child what is in/on your hand, they will reply nothing.

I currently see smoke between my hands. How can that be?
That is because the constant of the smoke is different to the clear constant and you can see a change in the clear constant by the interference of the smoke with the clear constant, an opposing force to the clear constant that is seen by the interaction of the different energy level /exchange rate of the constants.

Gibberish. I see smoke because I lit a cigarette and because there was light that refracted off said smoke.

You are a bad father then.

Feeding your children BS to suit your own ego. You are an uncaring person.

I knew you had lit a cigarette, you are adding to the air the smoke, the smoke has a greater opacity than air, the clear constant is stopped by the non-passive smoke depending on density. The action of the smoke is different to the clear, you see a change of the clear state energy interacting with the smoke.

You tell me asshole.
You see nothing but see through space, a value of nothing, you see your palm interacting with the nothing making a something. There is nothing impairing your view, the nothing is already in your eyes, equal to your eyes and sight, the nothing does not need to reflect of your hand into your eyes, you can see through the nothing and observe any change to/of the nothing.
When you catch a glare , that is the nothing reflecting into your eyes from the made something.

I feel sorry for your kids. If they believe any of what you've told them, they'll be mocked in school.

That "value of nothing" you state contains, in order of highest to lowest concentration, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Carbon Dioxide, Neon, Helium, Methane, Krypton, Hydrogen, and Xenon, as well as other trace molecules... not to mention dust, dirt, dead skin cells, various bacteria/virii/other pathogens, and other airborne contaminants.

That "value of zero" is actually a value of 100%...

Incorrect. You see the smoke because light is reflected from it. If it was its opacity, then cigarette smoke would appear black.
