OOC: cya l8er
We were about to arrive, we were around 1000 feet deep.
Just because we were diplomats doesnt mean were humble I thought to myself.
"Emergancy blow, full rise, plane 30 degrees"-Dimitri, over the comm I said "better hang on tight boys, were gonna fly"
And the Dimitriy blew all the water from her ballast tanks and started tilting upwards.
"All ahead flank!"
"All ahead flank aye sir"
500 feet....400...300...150...100...50

I can't believe I got picked for guard rotation, but oh well, at least I had gotten to see the Japanese and German diplomats. I was told to escort them around but what I could not figure out was why they were at dock 12, and also why there were three of our submarines off shore. I figured maybe there would be another ship arriving but none was seen, they looked impatient.
All of the sudden there was a lump in the ocean, it grew, and than popped like a giant bubble, and threw the spray and the foam the hull of what appeared to be a giant submarine rocketed out of the water and held its position for a millisecond than slammed back into the water. It just floated there, it was massive, our submarines took up escort positions, they looked like minnows next to a shark.
The ambassadors looked almost as stunned as the other guards and I did. The giant submarine pulled up. I heard somebody say "well the Russians know how to put on a show"
The submarine was approaching and was actually outpacing our submarines whom after falling a thousand meters behind just fell back and resumed guard stations. "It's the Dimitriy" I heard the Japanese ambassador say. "No shit" I thought to myself in awe. The thing was massive, more than 600 feet long at the very least.
the ship was maybe a minute away when I saw people climbing off the conning tower and onto the hull.

I stepped off the last step and was in my formal naval uniform, we had been ordered to wear all our medals rather than the normal mini ribbons, something that was a little annoying to do with the medal I had been awarded for the order of St. Andrew the first apostle. We pulled into dock... they had underestimated the behemoth that was the dimitriy, the dock which was meant to comfortably house even an Ohio class submarine could not contain the last 100 feet of the rear of the Dimitriy. We were tied off to the dock and a ramp was extended, me and six other officers disembarked.
