"Hey Sergeant, did you hear?" "Hear what?" "There's a Japanese Diplomat coming here." "What for?" "I dunno, I was kicked out of the briefing room after that. I guess he's coming here to negotiate something." "Just like old times." "Sir?" "Do you not know your history?"

We had learned that Russia had completely turned around. We had modernized and become incredibly competitive with the US. We learned that the new T-110 series of main battle tank was being churned out and the T-135 ws being prototyped a decade ahead of schedule. The T-110 could easily hold off an Abrams defensively, it had been based off of the Israeli Merkava and had many design improvements. The air force came up with the answer to the F-22 in the new I-54, it had less stealth abilities than the F-22, but it was much faster and maneuverable relying upon speed to dive and than shoot down an F-22, we had been probing them against some of the US F-35's in a few small skirmishes and only a few I-54's had been lost compared to 23 F-35's. We could not make them as fast as we could tanks, but by G-d, we might just hold off and invasion. I joined a meeting of various admirals and we designed the new coastal defenses. 5 inch cannons would be hidden in pillboxes with metal doors thick enough to suffer a direct hit but could open, fire, and close quickly. We were turning out anti air missiles and guns by the dozens and set them up all along the borders....even the Chinese border. We even set up torpedo mines that would launch up to two torpedos if it detects a ship and recieves an okay signal (the US actually has these types of mines :p). We sut up many walls of contingancy behind the beach head, we cleared whole forests to make death charges so if our enemy tried to cross they would be cut down with canister shells, mortars, artillery, mines, barbed wire, tanks, and machine guns. Rather than go on the immediate offensive our country was being made into a fortress.

We sat around talking, waiting for the Diplomat to arrive. We mostly talked about women.

this is an rpg kind of thing like scifleet and solstice. it's 2030 and wwIII has broken out every country is at war with each other we only have the weapons we have now and you can be whatever you want exept the leader of a nation. detail is everything. i'll start.

Well.....

sorry shogun, it's just that all of the stuff Russia has now is utter crap. They havent released a new design that could compete since 1993 in any category. The newest submarine in their fleet was commissioned in 1986. I have to create something to even the balance. Other than the Borei class submarine there is no knowledge of Russian military research because of how secretive. I have to improvise because honestly if this scenario of this thread were to play out, Russia would get ripped to pieces in a month...

They had their last refuel above the African continent, they then arrived near their destination. The AWACS and C-5 started landing, while Yamato Squadron circled the skies above from a medium altitude.

"Sergeant! They've arrived. And it seems we're going to be the security team." "Assemble the squad, we have to look our best." The squad got up and ran out to the planes.

Yeah sure, but Japan doesn't have anybody in their forces, not enough people. Can I put in a new exoskeleton ( military version of HAL 5), a bomber and a F/A-22 C ( carrier variant? )?

The Yamato Squadron flew at a low altitude and circled above, all did a cobra turn and landed on the runway. They got off their fighters and took out their helmets.

I don't think so. the upgrades I made were to even it out, so Russia had basically the same sort of tech if slightly inferior, if you add an exoskeleton than I have to add one... Even then, the HAL 5 wouldn't really work militarily. The servos in general of any exoskeleton have been the limiting factor. That's why they aren't used militarily. But the Us does have in development certain kinds of metals that when bundled together into bundles and an electric current is passed through them they flex. Almost like bundles of muscle. But that tech is far into the future.

But they already have plans for the F-22 to be carrier capable so sure.

Out of Game: Yeah, I only guess it is fair.

OOC: thanks

In game:

We were moving off the coast of Germany. We had thus far remained undetected, they had a lot of attack subs, at first I thought it was dumb luck none of them caught us by mistake, than I realized that most of these boats were brand new, you could tell because the frequency of the sound waves emitted by the screws are more jagged, usually an older submarine's screws get smoothed out by the ocean giving a smoother frequency, these subs were brand new which meant so were their crew... But it also could have been that we were 1200 feet deep travelling silently at 35 knots, even if they did get a short detection on their sonar they would have probably thought it to be a glitch...a ghost they are called, not submarine can travel this quietly this fast...

We were in position and had gone to parascope depth, we saw the naval base where they were having the peace talks and had raised our EMF antennae, photonic mast, and our radio mast. And now...we waited...and listened.

OUT OF GAME: Bechar might be a hard to get into Naval base. Seeming as how it's 200 miles inland.

We had aquaman help us out :p

No but the EMF antennae can detect the radio transmissions, the photonic mast is more to watch out for surface ships.

OUT OF GAME: I was wondering how you were going to spy on a land target with no way to get there.(Bechar is landlocked) :p :D
