Poor Monkey, he had wounds all over his body from those thorns from that devilish tour with the unicorn.
Arditezza was now taking care of him with the most loving care.
"Where are we going," he asked, but his voice was so faint and weak that he didn't really manage to end that sentence with the proper cadence of a question. Instead, it sounded almost like a dismal discovery of the hopelessness of the situation he felt they were in.
Arditezza look at me with much concern, for the Monkey was really not doing very well. The excavator came to help. I decided that action must be taken immediately. The matter was of great urgency.
I told the excavator to get the carriage he uses for transporting his finds, and he presently brought it. It wasn't a very soft surface to lie on, so I bade the Tiger to lay on it as a soft pillow. To make it the softest, Arditezza collected some waterilily petals and made a bed of lillies on the Tiger. All three of us, that is Arditezza, Dreamwalker and I, then placed the poor Monkey on his delicious bed, the Tiger softly purring to make it even softer.
We then attached the carriege to the unicorn -- as he is after all a horse. The carriage was no burden for him, he pulled it gracefully.
Now, the only question was where we ought to go to. -- Hah, there was Invert, healed, and now pure as a tear! He may quite well be able to tell where to take the Monkey to be healed.
