Scivillage

She awoke in darkness, a bit confused and realized that it was only a pillow atop her head. She climbed down the sofa and hopped over to look at what the tiger was looking at. The excavator had possibly lost it, wearing jeans and a coronet was certainly strange attire.

Then it caught her eye, the sparkling red gem that hung loosely around the burly mans neck. And she looked up at the tiger.

In his hurry the burly excavator had run face first right into a tree. This seem like a strange thing to do for the the tiger, since the tree had been standing there for as long as he could remember, then again the tiger had a tendency to forget sometime.

Standing over the unconsios excavator, the tiger was wondered what to do, when the frog came leaping to his side. She would know what to do, the tiger thougth and listen to the little frog, in its frogy voice asking for the ruby around the burly mans neck.

Ruby...the tiger thougth, what a boring thing, can you eat it, no. Instead the tiger picked up the excavator by his belt, shock him up and down, left and right, to see if he would wake. Then hid the still unconsions excavator in some near by bushes and covered him with a dirt and leaves. Brilliant the tiger thought, he never find himself when he wakes.

Remembering the ruby, the tiger returns and pulls it of Dreamwalkers neck. But the tiger does not want to share his toy, instead he finds a spot near a tree oppersite side to the frog, and starts to play.

(Post 1000 goes to Arditezza :)

Nexus: your stories where good, its my problem to make them fit for me, do not make chances just for me, i would not like that :).
Aaah the electrical story, that was great, I had such a good story of you getting electricuted left and right, but I could not get the words to work, so i scrapped it, ended up hidding in a corner if i remember right. Anyway seem you maybe have found a way out the asylum with your mind control)

(well, considering that I only wear a coronet, no amulet, that was only a mistake by Invert... but who cares, might have found an amulet in all that stuff. And I do not own any jeans, I am normally attired in various animals skins/furs. With the odd cannibal skull hanging around somewhere...)

(My character looks somewhat like this bloke, at least in my mind. Just take away that spike club and add a spear)

(Arditezza gave you the armulet, i add it around your neck, seemed like a good thing considering your hurry to find magic protection)

(why did I run into a tree?)

Ow, what happened? ...why am I covered with dirt? Must have been knocked out for some minutes. I must have hit a tree, judging from the marks left on my arms and face...Where is the amulet? Ah, not so important, at least I have my coronet.

Oh, there is Kunax, and that strange frog, looks like the tiger is playing with something...

Well, perhaps I should go and study that old book I found. It is supposed to be magical, if only I could translate the few unknown characters. Looks like I have some work to do.

(nice picture, have you notices he has jeans on(is jeans the same as pants)?
Like almost all skin, tiger skin look best on the original wearer :))

(well, that guy seems to wear leather pants, which are different in some ways to jeans, for one, they are made of animal hide and not wool (or whatever jeans are made of)).

(lol, no it hasn't, we all still where we started, Arditezza still does not have her ruby, dreamwalker is running around with a tiara, Nexus is making shity furniture and the dude that suppositly can read stars have not responded to the giant hint directed at him :))

DAY166

I awoke near the river not far from the villiage. My memory was a blur. I had been somehow restored to my human form. I vaguely remember running around the village as a deranged mutant for many days. I hadn't invented anything or solved any problems for quite awhile. But there was no time for that now. I had a mystery to solve. How did I get here? How did I become a mutant? How did I get restored back to my natural human form?

I picked my weak body up, and started towards the villiage. In the distance, I saw some strange form that appeared to be wearing a tiara on it's head. Was I dreaming? I had to get a closer look. . .

(Sorry for not updating. I had been very busy, and my internet was out. I updated the roles today as best as I could. Let me know if I missed anything.

"Aha! A tiger! With a ruby!" exclaimed Rosie in a most rosy manner, in a uttermost cheerful tone, her eyes afire with that special shine *blink* you can see only in women when they see a precious stone -- or in cats when playing with something shiny. (For some silly reason, both women and cats can be lured with shiny things. Go figure.)

Did you think that Rosie would look upon the Tiger playing with the ruby with idle sight? No, she went round to work and this young Tiger thus she did bespeak:

Tiger! Tiger! oh you most exquisite cat,
tell me, tell me, in your precious paws, what is that?

What immortal hand had made this little stone
that in your chryselephantine-like claws so boldly shines?

The Tiger, being a bit smitten by being thus bespoken, replied:

Oh you rosy flower, do you not see
that what I have is not for thee?!

But Rosie wasn't easily discouraged:

Oh Tiger, Tiger, why is it not for me?
May I at least come closer, and see?

The Tiger gave her a suspicious look, but shook his head as a sign that she is permitted to come closer. For, what could a silly flower do? Who would be afraid of her?
Upon seing the ruby up-close, Rosie was smitten too:

What a most delightful darling of a stone!
So preciously red, more red than red, and more precious than precious!

It shan't be literally conveyed what went on in that woman's mind at that moment, but suffice to say that even Lucrecia Borgia would be stark green of jealousy. For Rosie pondered nothing else but to get the ruby. It would fit so perfectly into her rose-red head!

All she would have to do is somehow get the ruby out of the chryselephantine-like claws of the Tiger ...

With flowering suspiction the tiger listen to the rose, finally he allowed rosy Rosa to approch and see his newest toy, for what harm could a flower possible do he thougth.
Turning on its side the tiger lifted up the gem, its chain entangled on its paw, as rays of sun hit the ruby rock, it shine even more, spackled from something deep inside.

On the ground the little frog, for obervious reasons was also very interested in the ruby. And from the ground where it sat the frog leap and jumped, grabbing hold of the ruby red, suspended on its chain on tigers paw. "Mine" the tiger thought, not used to share and shock his paw causing the poor frog to fall of, "Mine" did the frog squicky in its tiny voice "it is mine". But before the frog could leap again and the tiger could redraw his paw...

(good post Rosa :), I had this good idea for a reply but the idea ran away, i think its hidding somewhere and does not want to come out)

"Hah, where two fight, the third one gains!", I exclaimed in a high-pitched tone of exaltation, as only roses can. Hah and hah again!

So, as the Tiger and the Frog were fighting over the ruby, I simply sneaked in between the two of them, grabbed the ruby (how gently the chain slipped off of the Tiger's paw!), and ran, ran as fast as my legs could carry me.

I came running deep into the forest, where I finally stopped to take a breath. My, that was a run! The Tiger and the Frog didn't even notice that I have took the ruby and ran off, they didn't come after me.

Now I sat down at a tree to adore the ruby red ruby in peace. How my eyes sparkled! *blink* How my heart made somersaults! *woop woop* My, was I happy.

I wanted to put the gem onto my head, right between the ruby red petals. But for this, I needed a mirror. I saw that there was a pond nearby, so I went there. I sat down next to it, into the mossy dewy grass, and with greatest delight I placed the ruby on my head, between the petals.

But cruelest, most wicked, most pernicious magic! Just as I placed the ruby to my head, and adored myself in the watery mirror *my, was I breathtakingly beautiful!*, I turned to stone! Frailty, thy name is ruby magic!

So there I was, at the pond, in stone -- and the ruby was an inseparatable part of me! I hadn't really noticed that I had turned to stone -- until I tried to arrange the petals on my head, nicely around the ruby.

Inside, I began to cry the most bitter tears, for my dismal was immense. It was that as I cried, I noticed that the tears had an outlet -- even though I was all stone. Well, not all: my eyes were very much alive. For it was only so that I could see this immense dismal I was in. If my eyes had turned to stone too, I wouldn't see my own immense dismal -- and that cruelest, most wicked, most pernicious magic could not be apparent to me. O cursed spite!

Floating through the air a few meters from the top of the tree canopy in my luxury blimp, I glanced through the leaves and saw a beautiful statue. 'Hmmm, what is this?' I thought, and descended to take a closer look.

Walking on the statues head I noticed that it was so very lifelike, almost like a person frozen into stone, but that was impossible, wasn't it? I leant over the edge of the statues fringe to take a look at the face, and was so shocked I almost fell over the edge! The eyes were alive! they stared at me mournfully, tears leaking from them.

It was then I noticed the enourmous ruby. I admired it for half an hour the climbed back into the blimp to report the statue to CHU. Maybe they could turn the person back into flesh and blood. I settled into the pilots seat with a chilled beer and floated away...

My new chair is almost complete. Unfortunately, I seem to have gotten a touch of hemorhoids. And no one is left sane enough in this place thanks to my mental machinations to pop off to the store for some Preparation H.

What the hell am I going to do? It itches so bad!!!

I stalk the halls of the asylum with an odd gait to my stride looking for something to soothe the savage burn of my bunghole.

Something... soothing... I need something... soothing...

Coming to, after being accidentally knocked unconsious by the tiger, she looked all around her. The tiger was there, as was the monkey skuling in the corner. Rosie seemed to have run off somewhere, and the ruby was nowhere to be found. Hopping off in search of the ruby, she got lost in the forest outside the village. Cursing her inability to find her way home at night, she laid down in a bed of moss and fell asleep.
