Did you even read the thread or are you just illiterate? Do you agree that anytime that a male calls you a foul name that you have the right to attack him? That is what Orleander said, many times in that thread and towards the start of this thread.

the whole thing is wrong that it is gender specific, the laws arnt. They are VERY specific in the use of the word PERSON

When VAWA was signed in 1994 there weren't many things that denied men the right to seek shelter, but that doesn't mean that men weren't denied their rights under that law until Bush signed the 2005 VAWA.
 
Half of these aren't even rape. I don't like to see rape devalued like that- it should actually mean being penetrated against a person's will.
