That catch that took away the Patriot's perfect season. REMATCH in this year's Super Bowl: Giants vs Patriots.

Some sort of parade? They are looking at different things.

The caption was:

"The hotel guests -in Cocoa, Florida- watch from their windows a political rally of a candidate for president of USA".

Recent Hubble image of galaxy NGC 1073 located 55 million light years away in the Cetus constellation. This barred spiral galaxy bears an uncanny resemblance to our own Milky Way. Also captured in the image are three extra bright objects (quasars) which are actually billions of light years distant from NGC 1073.

For my entire life time, all the pictures I've been shown of the Milky Way show a nicely shaped spiral galaxy and then out of the blue they find this galaxy and call it a twin of the Milky Way. All I can say is, why should I believe this new picture anymore than the old ones?

As we learn more, things change. The galaxy wasn't always a spiral.

And actually the latest image linked there has been revised...it had too many arms. I believe what they interpreted as a separate arm was actually a section of another one. But of course this will change, again, as we learn more.

I like this pic and some other like it because it shows all the new discoveries of planets we're finding are only a very small part of the big picture.

Well a picture is worth a thousand words, and of course I knew all those nice spiral galaxies weren't the real Milky Way. Also, you are right I do like the picture you came up with. It is cool.:D
