These days you can say that about the entire city of San Francisco. Traffic is gridlocked and there's no place to park. Whatever did they think was going to happen when they abolished the 13-floor limit on buildings because of modern earthquake-stabilization technology?
Not allowing a freeway to be built through the city was a nice idea, but the down-side of that is the traffic. Public transportation can get you around the city pretty nicely, but except for the BART tunnel to Oakland (and who the heck wants to go there?) there's no way in or out except by car. Traffic is gridlocked all the way to San Jose on the south side and all the way to Santa Rosa on the north side. Many surveys rank it as the second-worst traffic in America, behind only New York. I can still drive in S.F. No big deal . Walking and bus is fine too . You can take BART to redwood city area too . It don't just go to Oakland . My Asian cousin gets us around just fine too. So does my son -in-law as that is where he grew up.
Port au- Prince . Now that is some cray ass driving . Never seen nothing like it . No lines in the streets . No speed limit and no street lights . It is like leaving a big event out of a huge parking lot except the parking lot is all the roads of Haiti and you go 45 to 100 miles an hour at your own will except your own life depends on what speed you go . You may have to punch the peddle to the metal to get out the way as there is a pecking order . I don't see Me doing it all to soon and must have a cray driver as I did my life is still alive .
