which natives? the jews who fled hebron in 1929, or the arabs who came from syria between 35 and 48 who fled to neighboring arab countries assured they will return victorious over the yahood?

such fantasies have filled the palestinians. 60 years of fantasies and all they can produce are qassam and terror.

These native inhabitants

There is ample evidence of forcible expulsions. The most notorious was the Lydda/Ramle death march. On July 12 and 13, 1948, on the direct order of Ben-Gurion, Israeli forces expelled the 50,000 residents of the towns of Lydda and neighboring Ramle. Yitzak Rabin, later to become Israeli Prime Minister, wrote in his memoirs that "there was no way of avoiding the use of force and warning shots in order to make the inhabitants march the ten or fifteen miles" required to reach Arab positions. Before they left, the townspeople were "systematically stripped of all their belongings," according to the Economist newspaper in London. Many of the expelled died in the 100-degree heat during the trek.[4]

Eventually the refugees from Lydda and Ramle made their way to refugee camps near Ramallah. Count Folke Bernadotte, Swedish nobleman and United Nations mediator, attempted to offer aid. He later wrote that "I have made the acquaintance of a great many refugee camps, but never have I seen a more ghastly sight than that which met my eyes here at Ramallah." (Later that year, Bernadotte was murdered by the Stern Gang. One of its leaders, Yitzhak Shamir, became Israeli Prime Minister in 1983.) [5]

Forcible expulsions were commonly practiced by the Jewish/Israeli military during 1948: Qisariya on February 15; Arab Zahrat al-Dumayri, al-Rama and Khirbat al-Sarkas in April; al-Ghabisiya, Danna, Najd and Zarnuqa the next month; Jaba, Ein Ghazal and Ijzim on July 24; and al-Bi'na and Deir al-Assad on October 31, among many others. Israeli historian Benny Morris has identified 34 Arab communities whose inhabitants were ousted. We may never know the full extent of the ejections, though, because, as Morris notes, the Israeli Defense Forces Archive "has a standing policy guideline not to open material explicitly describing expulsions and atrocities." this is interesting:

A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) is a person living outside of India and without Indian citizenship, but of Indian origin up to four generations removed. It is available to persons of Indian origin anywhere in the world as long as they have never been citizens of Pakistan or of Bangladesh. This unusual type of citizenship by descent is an intermediate form of citizenship in that it does not grant the full portfolio of rights enjoyed by Indian citizens.

The Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2003 and Citizenship (Amendment) Ordinance 2005 make provision for an even newer form of Indian nationality, the holders of which are to be known as Overseas Citizens of India (OCI). Overseas citizenship is not substantially different than PIO rights.

Holding either PIO or OCI status does, however, facilitate access to full Indian citizenship. An OCI who has been registered for five years, for instance, need be resident for only one year in India before becoming a full citizen.

why wont you ask the palestinians that question, sense that was their intention, which they did numerous time.

what can you expect from a small jewish resistance trying to secure themselves against 7 advancing arab armies?

send them flowers?

god i should have expected this shit from you. Israel is as white as pure snow. When you are ready to deal with reality come talk to me then

people hate the jews because of some jews like you who have a sense of entitlement

my GERMAN grandfather has numbers tattooed on him from when he was in a nazi work camp. he was allowed to leave once ever other week. if he would have left when he wasn't supposed to they would have shot him. when you see the israeli jews do that to jews than and only than can you say what they are doing is equal.

Have you heard of Mordechai Vanunu?

A 3.5-meter (11.5-feet) tunnel dug inside a Palestinian house was uncovered Tuesday during an IDF operation in the northern Gaza Strip. The tunnel was revealed some 700 meters (2,296 feet) away from the Israeli community of Kfar Aza.

Military sources estimated that this was another attempt by terror organizations to cross into Israel in order to carry out a terror attack, by moving under the fence or planting explosives under an Israeli target, such as a military post.

The forces, belonging to the Givati Brigade and the armor and engineering corps, operated as part of a joint IDF-Shin Bet raid aimed at uncovering terror infrastructures near the border fence.

Senior Southern Command officials have recently said that according to estimates, dozens of tunnels are currently being excavated. The military operations are aimed at uncovering such terror attacks while they are still being planned.

one step closer to peace? :p

Not only was it a house, it was inside the Gaza strip.

Still occupying Gaza, I see.

Every Israeli should be blessed by armed troops breaking down their door day or night?

so the israelis dug that tunnel you mean? yeah, just like we blew up that jihadist that was later announced dead during a "work accident" by HAMAS.

you must really hate israelis.
Personally, I would say there's plenty of hate in the ME, and particularly in the newly-won "territory" that Israelis have claimed.

I would say hatred for Israelis or Palestinians is a bit strong, I feel more an intense dislike for what looks like a lot of "activity" based on ethic hatred - fuelled by decades of occupation and oppression.
I dislike the Arab's methods of resistance (as do many Israelis, no doubt), and I dislike the Imperialist methods of the Israeli military.
I dislike the way Jewish and Arab leaders fan the flames, and score nationalistic, or tribal brownie points.

And I particularly dislike the way the West (i.e. the US, Europe, and Israel), keeps saying the Palestinians will have their own state one day.
This isn't going to happen, is it (and I can assume that the reason Jews believe that it won't, is because they also believe that all Arabs are terrorists who want nothing less than to see all the Jews gone - or dead). Mutual assured conflict seems to be the only option, it's a cultural clash and the best armed and organised will win the fight. As long as the oppressed keep giving their oppressors a reason to.

I also dislike the way stereotypes are assumed, by both sides. And the way Israelis justify their oppressive tactics (demolishing Arab houses, forced evacuations, terrorist tactics like targeting vehicles on busy streets, sniping children, and other "humane" stuff). It looks bloody sick when accusations and labels are "justifiably" used for terrorists, but the same kind of tactics are adopted by those accusers - terrorists calling each other terrorists.

The Jews have themselves to blame (and the US) for a lot of it, and so do the Arabs (not just the Palestinian "Arabs" - the whole Arab community). It's gone way beyond reasonable justification.

The social unrest and dissolution in Gaza, the current ghettoisation, is no doubt being seen in an optimistic light by the Knesset.
When it collapses, there will be a relatively straightforward mop-up, and several million new Arab refugees, with nowhere to go (as if they've got somewhere now),

So, Mr Spock, do you hate being Jewish?

Where are you getting this from? Who`s saying the israelis target children?

The head shots? The fact that Israelis who admit to killing children get paid NIS 80,000 as compensation?

The fact that IDF soldiers have admitted it?

Some junior commanders encouraged the brutality and even endorsed it. "After two months in Rafah a [new] commanding officer arrived ... So we do a first patrol with him. It's 6 A.M., Rafah is under curfew, there isn't so much as a dog in the streets. Only a little boy of four playing in the sand. He is building a castle in his yard. He [the officer] suddenly starts running and we all run with him. He was from the combat engineers. We all run with him. He grabbed the boy. Nufar, I am a degenerate if I am not telling you the truth. He broke his hand here at the wrist. Broke his hand at the wrist, broke his leg here. And started to stomp on his stomach, three times, and left. We are all there, jaws dropping, looking at him in shock ... The next day I go out with him on another patrol, and the soldiers are already starting to do the same thing."
