But SAM, that is the heart of the problem. Periodically, as Israel expands, Israel states "That land is not yours. That house is illegally constructed." (No Israeli permit for its construction is on file in the Israeli land / zoning records, etc.) “Shut up about your grandfather being born there before Israel existed. Just get out with your life, while you still can.”
The Negev Bedouin's claim to the Negev (and Sinai, before being forced out of it) land has been unintentionally supported by Israeli excavation for new Israeli settler homes. That digging discovered a Bedouin graveyard more than 5000 years old. And thus documented an “occupational claim” approximately 100 times older that Israel has existed, but still there were no recorded deeds* or other records on file in Israel, so the Bedouins did not own the land the new Israeli settlers were building their home on from the Israeli POV.
You can only defend your home, if it is "your home" - Israel has repeated said to the occupiers of these buildings: "You do not own them, we do. Shut up about ancient graveyards and where you grandfather was born. – We do not want to hear more about the olive grove he planted and we bulldozed down last month.” etc. – “Just be happy we let you live to move to some other land. - If you cooperate, we will even give you bus fare to Jordan.”

as someone who had family living in nazi controlled countries i have to say what the israelis are doing is bad but to say they are equal to the nazis is a stretch

If that is the case, then there is "zero stretch" required to say that Israel and Nazi Germany are doing exactly the same thing; However, the moral issue is identical. - That is not dependant on Israel killing or driving out exactly the same percentage as the Nazis did.
Thus I think the main difference is Israel is smarter or learned from Hitler's mistake. I.e. Is doing the extermination sufficiently slowly so that the rest of the world will at most periodically protest, but do nothing to stop it.

my GERMAN grandfather has numbers tattooed on him from when he was in a nazi work camp. he was allowed to leave once ever other week. if he would have left when he wasn't supposed to they would have shot him. when you see the israeli jews do that to jews than and only than can you say what they are doing is equal.
