C7,
People want to do things many times because they can't satisfy themselves, they can't reach to goal, unity.
Or they reach their goal, enjoy it, and find pleasure in doing it again. For example, I remember when I read my first novel when I was a child, I enjoyed it so much that I have been reading books ever since. It is not a matter of reaching your specious unity or a specific goal – it is part of ongoing life.
Only because our bodies are separate, we think we are individuals.
We are most definitely individuals.
It's always the same desire: to unite with the one you love.
It is overwhelmingly primarily personal pleasure. That pleasure can be significantly enhanced as part of a couple. If it was not for personal pleasure we would not engage in sex. Just like all animals it is a primitive and primeval instinct.
People who are in love often say they could eat each other up, they want to unite.
That’s sexual passion not a desire to be one.
The desire to unite exists because we were once united and whole.
Invalid premise and invalid conclusion.
That's why people who fall in love sometimes feel like they have always known each other, they subconsciously remember that reality.
BS. That’s simple personality compatibility.
Man appears to be the complementary half of the woman, and reversed...
Or man and man, or woman and woman, depending on your sexual orientation. But no. That’s a combination of social pressure (to be a part of a couple), and social instincts from our evolutionary development.
since people identify themselves with their body, they think they are only a half.
No that’s primarily social pressure, which can be overcome. I have been very happily divorced now for 11 years and have deliberately chosen a single lifestyle. I am fiercely independent, value my privacy, and most certainly do not feel I am only a half of something. And there are an increasing number of people like me and especially among women who now no longer need to depend on a male “breadwinner”.
God is the unification of both poles (nothingness)
Religion is an unnecessary consideration for a successful relationship or sexual pleasure. And of course your bizarre mystical perspective is doubly irrelevant.
Life on earth cannot be so pointless.
Why not?
There must be a goal which can be attained.
Then let’s define one for ourselves.
