Israeli/Hamas disregard for human life.

That's what I'm doubting.

Did they intend to move their to create a state for jews instead of allowing the people of palestine to choose their own political future? yes, so it was their intent to deny them their rights. Even if you don't view something as a way if it does it and your intent was to take said action than your intent was to do so.

I don't doubt that for some Zionists, that was their plan, but most of them just wanted a place to be safe among their people. The ones that had been living there some time probably didn't want anything to change. Many Arabs were even supportive of the idea of a Jewish homeland. The real situation was much more complex than many people make it out to be.

Ever read what the Nazi said about Jewish ghettos in WWII?

How's that relative?
I wonder, S.A.M, have you ever been to the "Palestine" you talk so much about?
Have you ever met Palestinian arabs face to face?
Did you see the checkpoints with your own eyes?

1. Regarding the aroma of Palestinian homes. Poverty (enforced by Israel) tends to lower the standard of living of Palestinians, thus sub standard sanitation. Not like good old air conditioned Tel Aviv eh?
2. Don`t assume cultures other than your own should share your views or standards.

You mean for most Jews. They wanted a safe have to call their own. Absolutely understandable. Zionism on the other hand prescribes ethnic cleansing and is not acceptable.

The Israeli military has imposed a three-day closure on the West Bank, banning Palestinians from entering Israel during a Jewish festival.

The military says the closure began early Monday and will last through the Purim holiday, ending at midnight Wednesday.

The military says exceptions will be made for Palestinians needing urgent medical care and in other humanitarian cases.

Israel's military considers Jewish festivals likely times for Palestinian attacks and regularly imposes such closures.

In the past there have been several deadly bombings targeting Israelis on the Purim festival. In 1994, a Jewish settler killed 29 Palestinians in a Hebron mosque during the holiday.

Hilarious.

No it doesn't.

Main Entry:
Zi·on·ism
Pronunciation:
\ˈzī-ə-ˌni-zəm\
Function:
noun
Date:
1896

: an international movement originally for the establishment of a Jewish national or religious community in Palestine and later for the support of modern Israel

Can you see the problem here? There were, and there are, Palestinians in Palestine. The vast majority of them were forcibly displaced to make way for the Jewish state.

Main Entry:
ethnic cleansing
Function:
noun
Date:
1991

: the expulsion, imprisonment, or killing of an ethnic minority by a dominant majority in order to achieve ethnic homogeneity

The difference in this case was that the Palestinians were in the majority.

The most recent bout of the above (ethnic cleansing) was the slaughter of 1300 Palestinians. Half of which were woman and children.

Community doesn't imply an exclusive geographical zone. The vast majority of Palestinians were left alone, the Jewish state was only a threat to them in the sense that surrounding Arab nations seemed intent on it's total destruction. They thought they would be able to move back when the ethnic cleansing was done, but thankfully things didn't turn out that way.

The attacks on Gaza had nothing to do with ethnic cleansing.

Strange how everyone associated with peace is a threat to Israel:

The head of a leading Palestinian human rights group said Wednesday he'll accept a major Dutch prize by video conference after the Supreme Court banned him from traveling to the awards ceremony.

Al-Haq director Shawan Jabarin had hoped to travel from the West Bank to the Netherlands on Friday to receive the Geuzenpenning Prize on behalf of his group.

The court said Tuesday that Jabarin would not be allowed to travel because of security concerns. The ruling was based on evidence from Israeli security agents that Jabarin is involved with terror groups.

Charles (Chas) Freeman, who was slated to be picked as the new chairman of the National Intelligence Council, slammed the Israel 'Lobby' Wednesday after withdrawing his candidacy for the post the previous day.

"I regret that my willingness to serve the new administration has ended by casting doubt on its ability to consider, let alone decide what policies might best serve the interests of the United States rather than those of a Lobby intent on enforcing the will and interests of a foreign government," Freeman said in a statement to Foreign Policy.

Freeman's withdrawal was announced in Washington by Dennis Blair, the director of National Intelligence. Since news of Freeman's nomination, Jewish organizations have leveled criticism at the pick due to his history of opposition to Israel's policies in the Palestinian territories.

go look at the b-36

ps. none of what you brought up refutes my basic point.

The B-52 is a turbo jet aircraft, it wasnt made in WW2.

The attacks on Gaza had nothing to do with ethnic cleansing.

Of course. It was an assault on Hamas woman and children. About 700 of them. And their homes. About 4000 of them.

And of course the vicious, disproportionate rocket attacks, that rarely kill anyone, continues...
