U blaim in christianity what occured hundreds of years ago, such as the inquisition etc. but do not see what happened today and in world war 1, world war 2, iraq and United States, japan in Pearl Harbor, etc. wars which is caused because of nationalism, not christianity, but u dont see this, you still believe that christians make mistakes, and how does being a disrespectfull atheist solve disunity?

U ask for proof, and you are given tons of it, PROOF WHICH YOU CAN SEE AND EASY TO UNDERSTAND, but your stubborn.

That fact is not known yet but it can happen. For example scientists in the past have created amino acids from running an electric charge through some atoms. And from there some speculate life evolved, but we have no proof because then we'll have to wait billion of years to find out.

Lightning in the past may have created amino acids and some other molecules. But now we do not know if those amino acids evolved into cells OR were aided by a type of intelligence. But if anything is created, it must have an ending. Therefore if you talk of God He must be an eternal one, we cannot even question about this God's beginning or end because for something eternal that definition does not apply.

And the only thing so far I know that is eternal is energy. Simply because energy has been to proven that it cannot be created or destroyed.

I do not know which story you are talking about, but I do know many of these "so-called" miracles have been refuted when taken into research.

What I do know is that one place in Mexico this lady hands out rose petals to be placed in the Bible. And if you place the petal in the Bible, a picture of Mary will appear where the rose is. Many believe if is the Virgin Mary at work, and that these "holy miracles" do happen. :rolleyes:

First of all, no human knows how Mary looks like. She is most likely portrayed in our VIEW. So why is that picture of Mary doing in the rose? We know that it is a symbol WE HUMANS have made for "Mary." Then more investigation, the investigators then find out the lady uses a metal symbol of the Virgin Mary and 'pushes hard' on the rose to 'leave the image there.' So once you place that rose in the Bible and close it TIGHTLY, that picture of Mary will appear.

So many of these have been proven false, and most likely your story up there is. Of course they have no pure evidence of that Lady of Guadalupe, just stories from many people who live in Mexico "claiming" something.

First of all, I don't think Jesus wrote anything. Historians in the past have just wrote stories of Him. And I believe they are exaggerated, but one cannot deny Jesus did not exist in the past. And where is this "healing" of incurable cancers? Maybe the cancer cell somehow ceased dividing and returned to normal (If you know exactly what a cancer cell does.)

I'm not quite sure if this actually happened, but if it did, it hardly does. So someone gets cured from an incurable disease we automatically say "faith" was at work? This issue can't really be discussed because there is no solid proof. We can't simply say 'God cured them.' But yes, people can fight diseases through the mind, with laughter etc and it proves to be very healthy.

The Lady of Guadalupe have a scientific evidence that is so clear. Juan Diego (who is lately canonized as a saint) lived in about 600 years ago. He was walking one day and met a woman illumined with light, to make the story short, the miracle was that the painting of the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to his cactus cloth. Now, scientifically speaking, cactus cloth doesnt last over 60 years, they rot and decay. This one lived over 600 years (about), a fact, carbon dated. The painting was scanned, and the painting shows no brush strokes! Furthermore, there is no sketch behind the paint, for normally 100 years ago, painters usually sketch before applying the paint. Where did I learn this? Not in a religious store, but in TLC. A documentary, thats why till this day, there are billions of followers. If u want to learn more, the Lady of Lourdes is even the best of the best about miracles, for they have pictures of once crippled people, and after going there became absolutely healed, they came by thousands. The Fox show, and Discovery channel shows the miracles of the bleeding statues, today, there were all over the world, icons of Mary weeping blood and water. Well none of them were really captured on film live, EXCEPT, the one in south america, a little statue of Jesus, which is about 6 inches high and 5 inches wide.
