Yeah, but we don't hold marches down through the middle of town proudly proclaiming the joys of those perverted sexual methods and techniques. When I tie my women to the bed, and blindfold them, I seldom call anyone else to be a witness to the coming attraction ...well, unless some of my friends want to join us, of course!

With gays, on the other hand, their perverted sexuality is what defines them as humans. So sad, so terribly sad.

Baron Max

If you are making reference to gay pride parades, do you really think that's why we have them? So we can tell the world how we enjoy sex with the same gender?

As far as how some of the people dress at the parades, I can honestly say I haven't really witnessed that. I'm not saying it doesn't happen-- but the ones I've been to it has been nothing but respectful.

well in our City......they parade around wearing nothing but chaps and dog collars......do you think that is really necessary?

I'll never forget the day my dad took a wrong turn and ended up in the Castro district. Us kids (I was 9) saw things we had never imagined before, including a man leading another man around by a leash. My dad kept screaming over and over "Everyone is going to a costume party! A COSTUME PARTY!!!"

I've seen worse on beaches. 350 lb women should never ever wear thong bikinis. Beautiful women wear them and everyone still gets an eyeful. Is that offensive??

Wow!
Two incorrect statements in two sentences.
Well done.

Not trying to undermine your unquestionable authority, Mr. Oli, but does "science" really have any conclusive evidence pertaining to a predetermined sexuality? Has the whole "scientific community" formed a consensus on such matters? I've read a respectable amount of published work regarding this matter, and I find the studies are very mixed and inconclusive.

NOBODY, NO THING ON THIS EARTH IS NATURALLY HOMOSEXUAL!

And in most of the world it is frowned upon (in some places, action is taken)

Hmmm. Mr Oli I like.
Unquestionable authority - not good, there should never be such a thing :D

Give an indication.
To the best of my knowledge (and I'm a mere dabbler/ dilettante in the "icky" sciences - physics and and engineering is where I live) sexuality is genetically determined.

And still you ignore reality.
There are numerous species where homosexuality occurs.
For example 100% of bonobo chimps are bisexual.

Because they, like you, ignore and deny reality?

No, because they, like me, find it wrong for this atrocity to take place. So what if animals are like that? Dogs smell each others ass, should we as well? That is what makes humans different, we have standards and morals.

Thanks for the links, sir. I have read some before, and the others I couldn't read because I needed to register to the websites.

I can also post links that would confirm a voluntary say in sexuality, but that would be pointless. I realize your background isn't genetics, as mine isn't either, so it's unfair of me to use websites in trying to prove a point.

What I have read from the publishers who say homosexuality is a lifestyle, a choice, that has convinced me, is the twins argument. Identical twins share identical DNA and genetic information - this, to my knowledge, is undisputed. However, we see that one identical twin becomes gay later in his or her life, whereas the other only (by studies) is gay as well 50% of the time. To me, if homosexuality were genetic, all indentical twins who had a "gay gene" would both be homosexual, considering they have the same genes.

Maybe somebody can clear this up for us?

See, you are making inappropriate comparisons to justify your ignorance. Would a dog be able to type bullshit into a computer? No he wouldn't because there are differences aswell as analogues between different species. Homosexuality is by no means unique to humans.

Current science is that sexuality is a mix of social and biological determinism. Twins may inherit a genetic predisposition to be homosexual, but environment (including the womb) may act on it still further.

For another example, your height is a mixture of genes and environment. You may inherit genes that would make you very tall, but you may not actually become very tall if you are undernourished during a critical growth phase of your childhood.

For more on the latest findings, watch this 60 Minutes report (especially the segment about how the more older brothers you have, the more likely it is you will be gay), http://60minutes.yahoo.com/segment/68/gay_or_straight

Nope, but being gay is wrong. It's wrong to be attracted to the SAME sex for gods sake. What is the point of genders if everybody in the world is gay?

And I've just back from a night out with one of two twins.
She is a lesbian and her brother is gay.
She is 5' 4" and her brother is 6'2".
Does that help?

And standards and morals are an invention - they are not universal or eternal.
They vary with time and place.
Atrocity?
You disgust me more with each post.

Yes true but we have them

And they are atrocities, they are disgusting, they do not fit ( a negative charge attracts a positive charge, if you will) and they are freaks

....Nature reproduction is man+women
So it is a crime against nature...

Is an infertile couple a crime against nature?
Is a couple who do not wish to have children commiting a crime against nature?
Is a crime against nature a direct crime against God?
