There are many thing much worse than death.the question was:
When is killing ok?
One being having to live with the abject failure that killing someone either by want or necessity demonstrates.

No need to wonder - it's on display. It flies flags (and demands reverence for them), shoots off fireworks, organizes parades, arranges photo ops https://s-i.huffpost.com/gen/2903624/images/n-BUSH-MISSION-ACCOMPLISHED-628x314.jpg , struts its junk in military uniform https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:George_W._Bush_walks_with_Ryan_Phillips_to_Navy_One.jpgOne wonders what level/sort of despair would lead one to seek relief via killing unknown strangers.
One wonders what level of depravity would lead one to seek relief via sending 26,171 bombs in one year.
and gets its face on TV whenever it wants to, receiving on-camera deference from anyone who wants to keep their job as a "respectable" pundit:MATTHEWS: What do you make of this broadside against the USS Abraham Lincoln and its chief visitor last week?
LIDDY: Well, I -- in the first place, I think it's envy. I mean, after all, Al Gore had to go get some woman to tell him how to be a man. And here comes George Bush. You know, he's in his flight suit, he's striding across the deck, and he's wearing his parachute harness, you know -- and I've worn those because I parachute -- and it makes the best of his manly characteristic. You go run those -- run that stuff again of him walking across there with the parachute. He has just won every woman's vote in the United States of America. You know, all those women who say size doesn't count -- they're all liars. Check that out. I hope the Democrats keep ratting on him and all of this stuff so that they keep showing that tape.

And appearing on the May 4, 2003, edition of CNN's Reliable Sources, syndicated radio host Laura Ingraham discussed her reaction:
INGRAHAM: Speaking as a woman, and listening to the women who called into my radio show, seeing President Bush get out of that plane, carrying his helmet, he is a real man. He stands by his word. That was a very powerful moment.
your right but your wrong. while that is part of the second amendments purpose your no where near reality when it comes to the mechanics of how and why the second amendment is supposed to do so. probably because you mindless follow the nra version of reality and history rather than the real thing. The second amendment is another of those pesky things the founders wrote in to limit the "absolute right of monarchy" as it existed in England up until the late 1500's, and one of the reasons those pesky "freedoms" granted by our government.

Sculptor, have you been accused of not having read history, yet? Wait for it...
language languageFuck off, you illiterate fool. Just considering your minuscule abilities in English, I seriously doubt that you've even read our constitution, much less understand it.
I suggest you actually think of the consequences and actually realities of what your claiming.
I've read the consitution, a good portion of the federalist and anti federalist papers, the un charter, all of the geneva conventions, and the montevideo convention.
i would hardly call that tyranny i guess when you a rightie the word tyranny means something differentlytheirthere are no absolute rights
OK
I would offer up another reason for the bill of rights (as demanded by Mason...then facilitated by Madison)
If you look at what happened in Massachusetts at the time of Shays' Rebellion(1786 and 1787):
You would see tyranny by the state of Massachusetts rearing it's ugly head right here in america.
I believe that it was fear of those tyrannical tendencies which led Mason to want rights(1791) included in the constitution(1789-92).
(When you stack the deck and then tyrannically use coercive force to enforce unjust "laws", word gets around)
no mainly because i abhor violence and feel if that it comes to needing a gun to defend my rights i've all ready fucked up so badly in protecting them it would make no difference. i see an education as a far surer defense of my rights than gun.Can you perceive of the 2nd as the mach 2.6 (2960fps) enforcement provision of the 1st?
fyi the priciples of the riot act are still currently in effect in us law. starting with the miltia actsfyi
Samuel Adams drew up the Riot Act and a resolution to suspend Habeas Corpus in order to keep protesters unlawfully in jail. Adams then proposed that a rebellion in a republic should result in an execution.
Riot Act. Passed by the Massachusetts State Legislature in the fall of 1786, the act forbade all gatherings of more than 12 armed persons and empowered sheriffs to kill rioters.
first of the word illiterate means one is able to read so for starters the actual fact i'm responding to your drivel is proof im notYes, you are illiterate.
if minor grammar mistakes prevent you from understanding what im saying thats once again says more about you than me. its the internet im not going to waste my time having perfect english. that your throwing a hissy fit about and relying on once again personal attacks says far more about you than me.Sentences begin with capital letters in English. Again, in English, "your" is possessive, "you're" is a contraction of "you are". "Of if" is seriously flawed, and I have no idea what you thought you were saying.
its quite clear what im saying. you can continue but you'll only make your self look worse. What the hell was that? Shall I continue? Thank you.
are you capable of doing anything other than personal attacks and acting like your better than others because you have a fetish for weaponery? How many years did that take? All thirteen?
really the person hurling insults really isn't in any place to call anyone an asshole.I will call a spade a spade, an asshole an asshole, and an illiterate fool an illiterate fool.
once again no i see no reason to. i have no need of classes on english im fluent in the language, also in tends to be people who whine about spelling and grammar know they don't have an argument. Please "dissagree" all you like, but you might want a spell checker and a few lessons in English usage and grammar.

so do you have an argument or are you just going to continue whining about grammar because you cant actually refute an argument.
I will call a spade a spade, an asshole an asshole, and an illiterate fool an illiterate fool. Please "dissagree" all you like, but you might want a spell checker and a few lessons in English usage and grammar.
Mod Note
You have been at this for a while now.
It is not an unexpected switch. We are used to it by now.
I will give you a bit of a heads up, however.
We currently have 5 active reports. All of them are aimed at you and your abusive behaviour. Not by anyone you are actively arguing against, but by other members who are unfortunate enough to be witnessing your childish and abusive display. Although since I have started typing this, we are now up to 6 reports.
You are currently on 50 infraction points, which means that yet another infraction will see you take yet another break from this site.
So.. How do you want to play this, Dr_Toad?
Where do you want to go from here?
Because from where I have been sitting, there has been a fairly severe uptick in your overtly aggressive behaviour on this site for quite a while now. We all have issues happening in our lives and often, some of it spills out in here in how we behave. We are all human, after all. Usually, we all have our blah moments, and then we realise that we sound like fools and we go back to normal. You, on the other hand, have not had that downtime. You seem to be permanently in that heightened state of aggressiveness and abusiveness that truth be told, makes you a very unpleasant fellow to have and be around.
And that is not our fault. That is entirely on you. You were not previously like this. You used to be one of the good guys to discuss something with. Now you are behaving like a deranged harpy. If anyone dares to disagree with you, you start abusing them, you become very aggressive and frankly, you start to act like a drunken tool who's had too much beer and is being thrown out of the bar. We don't want to ban you. But if you keep acting like this, those points will build up until you will be permanently banned. Perhaps that is your intention? If so, let us know and we can save ourselves a lot of time and hassle, not to mention spare the forum your abusive sprays. If that is not the case, however, perhaps you can try to figure out what the issue is and stop taking it out on the rest of us all the time.
