What if it was your baby tiger? If I raised it, I'd have to say baby tiger hands down over a human I've never met. If it was someone I knew, it would depend if they meant more to me than the baby tiger.
I would save the whales if I could keep them afterward. Whaling profits would be quite significant if I could breed them.

I tend to think whales and dolphins are smarter than humans, if only because they were smart enough to stay in the freaking water.
Then again, it might have been a bad choice, since we've made a point of punishing them for that decision.

not all whales are good. Bottle nose dolphins(yes dolphins are whales) are evil fuckers. Like I said before they have high instances of gang rape and infanticide( and this they actually practice for on a species of porpoise).
What I would do is to find a solution that saves them all.

Apparently, a hybrid Bottlenose/Risso's dolphin is a a curiosity to marine biologists, and the a Bottlenose/FKW offspring was born in captivity in 1985.
I mean, shit, if you could breed with other genera? I'm a human male; I'm horny enough as it is. I don't ever want hominini pan looking that good.

the human. not that i don't feel bad for the whales, its just i consider humans a higher and more valuable form of life. although it may depend on the person. and the situation.
