The way I see it, the guy runs toward Kaka while looking at the other way and his face incidentally hit Kaka's shoulder

pretty rough game, and we´ve seen today already the second bad decision by a referee. the second goal was handplay.

Yeah, I gotta say though that Ref had a LOT of patience... those guys were practically fighting on the field. Still, that was a bad, BAD call.

On the bright side, this'll allow Kaka to rest up during Portugal's game... no need to over-exert himself since Brazil is already out of the Groups. What'll probably happen is that Brazil will give the game to Portugal to allow them to advance and keep Ivory Coast out. It's underhanded, but after today with how heated things were, it's a good strategy, and with Kaka out of the game, it won't be as obvious.

Also, IC vs N.Korea will probably be a N.Korean win. The Koreans are VERY defensive, and played an excellent game against Brazil. Portugal vs N. Korea will be an excellent match as well.

Kaka held out his elbow on purpose. And the fact that he didn't even look back to see who 'hit' him says enough.
I agree with the referee here. Or actually, I think that should have been a direct red card.

This is the problem with these pretended injuries. It's getting ridiculous. Panel of judges: faked injury? No play for a day. Go nurse your whatever the hell was supposedly injured. No, no: we wouldn't want you to get hurt. I once stopped a 250-pound Samoan dead on the mid-field line. Didn't catch me bitching about that, and these idiots get paid money to play honourably.

(Lot of fighting in the match though; also bad.)

Heh, just looking back at the weeks results and my prediction table and I actually have 2 right. Teams really have a habit of letting me down on one side of the scores though. And I'm way off when it comes to France and the Kiwis.
