Why worship?

I don't mean to pick, but that could be reversed. How can so many people be wrong in being atheist?

Atheists are religous people who have not seen the light and for the most part we should not pity but respect them.

I have said it many times here: when science ends, religion takes over. The purpose of science is to reveal God.

Even the Pope is cool with the Big Bang, and the Qu'ran inferred it in ancient text. And the creation of the Earth is somewhat compatible with Genesis.

Atheism will never go away but its followers come and go.

Nope. It has been inferred by readers of the Quran (in the light of current science). Different thing altogether.
