Why buy the cow when the milk's free?

what makes you think us women want to be married. I was perfectly happy living with my husband and having sex without being married.
Then I got pregnant. So we got married. We got married because there was a child involved. Most couples don't even bother withthat anymore.

Who wants a man who marries you just so he can get laid? What man is so desperate to get laid that he marries the woman?

I am not doubting the sincerity of your belief that living in sexual relationships without marriage is good. I think it's stupid, however. The problem is young men don't want to get married, just laid. And they are certainly smart enough to know not to marry someone just because you want to get laid. You got married only because there was a kid. Good for you. You finally did the right thing.

I almost did that. Had to be a virgin til I got married. Finally, not long before the wedding, i decided 'what the hell! We're getting married soon" Smartest thing I ever did. Even as a virgin I knew it was bad bad bad.
We didn't get married. There was no way I was gonna do that for 50+ years.

Most women on welfare have illegitimate kids and they get paid 500.00 for each kid they have. So why should they get married when they can make more money from the welfare department than by being married? Most of the time the man/men who have the women have babies for them get a piece of the money from welfare as well. That's why so many welfare moms have 3,4 or 5 kids running around without a father. :shrug:

The problem is the destruction of the family. The loss of a growing and prosperous economy. The loss of fathers bringing up their sons, and the destructive violence those sons eventually render on society.
