I have riv...And while the likes of JPL and others have done work and research in that area, as yet, we do not have any anti gravity propulsion methodology.

Not really .
We do not as yet have any effective anti gravity drive riv, and that is fact.
If you disagree then please give us a reputable citation and or link.

It depends how they got here. I'm inclined to agree with the view that if they are limited to sub-light speed travel, then they must have come from reasonably nearby, although roving colony-ships are a possibility. It seems unlikely that they come from anywhere in our solar system, because if they did we would have found signs of their civilisation by now.
Any aliens visiting us would no doubt bring along any appropriate life-support mechanisms that they needed with them.
It would be far easier to send robots if they are in some kind of untargeted process of exploration. On the other hand, if they are specifically aiming at Earth they could, conceivably, come in person.
The most likely reason would be that they are interested in planets that can support life. They might also know about us if they, or their machines, have been close enough to Earth over the last 50 years or so. It makes sense for intelligent lifeforms to be curious about other intelligent lifeforms.
As for exploration, if the Earth happens to be close to home, that could a reason. If, on the other hand, the aliens can travel easily over very large distances then exploration alone would seem to be an unlikely reason. The universe is a very big place, and from a distance there's probably nothing particular special to make our solar system stand out from billions of others. For similar reasons, aliens are unlikely to come here in a search for resources of any kind.
If aliens are visiting Earth right now, there's most likely nothing we could do to technologically out-gun them.

We should not suggest that to the public otherwise there may be opposition to the battlestar project.
We need an enemy so as to fund the military, funding the military sees jobs for all and prosperity follows.
Think of the things that we don't even know we need that will have to to be invented to build battlestars and in time will become available to the masses.

We are the aliens. We came from another world. Pluto to be exact.
Once man started sending satellites out further into the solar system they feared for their privacy and began to colonize further out in the solar system (out past the Kuiper Belt).
We were just an experiment for them to see if they could "grow" life on Earth.
However, most alien life in the universe is aggressive and to be feared. The good guy doesn't come out on top in the universe anymore than here on Earth.
We don't need to spend time worrying or thining about aliens however. It's the ghosts and goblins that are actually more dangerous than anyone imagined. They are the cause of much of the "evil" in the world today.

If that's true , why the cover up for all these yrs?
Because it isn't a cover up, but rather an attempt to keep the inane ramblings of a few from causing widespread panic among an incredibly easy-to-convince, gullible, and panicky populace.
Most (I'd say the vast majority) of people are NOT natural born leaders... they are followers, sheep if you will. They are perfectly content to have a structured life, few surprises, fewer unknowns, and to do as they are told to do and be rewarded for it.
Rare is the person who genuinely enjoys leading from the front and making those tough calls... rarer still is the person who genuinely enjoys leading, is intellectually skeptical and analytical enough to do adequate research into a new premise to come to a reasonable conclusion, and has the moral fiber and integrity to do what is best for the whole, rather than for themselves and/or a small group of cronies.
As a result, when one of those leader-types says something... the whole will tend to believe them. Likewise, when anyone says something that even sounds like it could be remotely reasonable, a fair swath of people are apt to believe it without second thought.
Case in point - pizzagate.
