What's on your iPod?

The King's rendition of this Gospel song, nearly had me down on my knees begging forgiveness!

He truly could master anything.

What am I listening to now, while doing the domestic duties the Mrs has kindly left me?
Australia's King of rock n roll from the fifties and sixties and early seventies!

Actually went to school with him before he was expelled...a real Larrikin! :D:p
OK back to the domestic duties!

it's a very sweet song. there is not enough innocence and purity in the world. or it gets exploited instead of being nurtured and celebrated.

Well, it seems I'm only about 20 years too late to the party, but have just discovered this incredible group from Japan... mostly symphonic metal, but blessed with some extraordinary ballads such as the video below.
I give you... X Japan

It's mostly in Japanese, but with some English, but i rarely listen to lyrics anyway. :)

They were pretty much the founders of the "visual kei" movement in Japan, although by the time of this video they had mostly moved on, except for the guy in red gear and pink hair, although even that is tame compared to what they were used to (think glam rock with punk overtones and massive hair! :))
If you want to see them at their best... watch any excerpt you can from "The Last Live" - their final gig before splitting up in 1997.

I think this is still the greatest love song ever. I've never heard another song yet to replace it. The lyrics are just so beautiful.

This song signifies your first true love that you would never forget or have a place in your heart always as well as the love of your life.

It's innocent, pure and idealistic. It's epic and noble. Someone who fights for your honor truly loves you to the highest and deepest degree.

Indeed a beautiful song, but I'll challenge your claim with this little musing by Lizz Wright.

i still listen and sing to this in the car but with the windows rolled up tight. corny and nostalgic. oh yeah.

when it first came out, i would sing to it using a wooden spoon as a microphone and belt it out prancing around my living room as if i was on stage. but didn't everyone? just me? lol

I'm pretty sure I can balance a dozen CDs on an iPod.
If someone wanted to lend me an iPod.
Does anyone have iPods anymore?

This is my current can't get-enough:

Let's reminisce -

"When the visions around you
Bring tears to your eyes
And all that surrounds you
Are secrets and lies
I'll be your strength
I'll give you hope
Keeping your faith when it's gone..

I''ve loved you forever, in lifetimes before and I promise you, never will you hurt anymore.. I give you my word and I give you my heart.. this is a battle we've won..."

beautiful

she has a beautiful voice..and i love this down to earth girl.

i don't like her voice that much but this song is beautiful. the lyrics of love that is limitless and boundless.

"I have died everyday waiting for you
Darling don't be afraid I have loved you
For a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more

And all along I believed I would find you
Time has brought your heart to me
I have loved you for a thousand years
I'll love you for a thousand more"
