Spritual gifts are mentioned in the bible and is common among those having the spirit. The way gifts of the spirit are used one can easily think of them as magic.
hm...i think i just have an aversion to the word magic. i'm of the everything happens for a reason mindset.
As an example, tongues, Oral Roberts, rest in peace, said he spoke in tongues and that it would rise up from his stomach.

my grandma used to do that. if i understand it correctly, it's a language of the spirit, brought on by spiritual influence. spirits aren't magic. they're just spirits.
Spirits are conjured up through some sort of practiced ritual whether it is religion or séances or psychic abilities.
people are influenced by spirits all the time whether they conjure them or not.
Well, I like to refer to the practice of invoking the manifestation of spirits as magic.

That is a good one. The exorcism of spirits would fall under the category of magic.
