Victor Espinoza's: Thread of Intrigue

And HERE we have it folks - Victor doesn't believe in Scientists... he also doesn't believe in "proof" or the "scientific method" either.

Proof? Who needs proof when you have wild theories and fantasies of black holes everywhere? Who needs evidence when you can make shit up as you please?

Victor, people like you are part of the problem, not the solution. Stop deluding yourself and get educated.

I don't believe in scientists either. I don't believe in the scientific method, I don't think it has ever been tested. I doubt that the scientific method would pass the scientific method.

I... really don't have a response to that comment. You doubt the scientific method would pass the scientific method? Do you have any supporting/sustaining evidence for that statement?

Be calm, see the "Lunatic Fringe taking over" thread for details. They are more prolific than rabbits and Sci seems to be very attractive at the moment, like moths to the flame...

The demonstrable results of scientific inquiry is the test. Technology is the proof it works.

The demonstrable results of scientific inquiry is the test. Technology is the proof it works.

Technology is the proof that measurements work, not the scientific model. Science tries to take credit for everything. Some people say "You wouldn't have computers..." The first computer was made for the war, by someone trying to solve a problem. Nothing to do with science. Anyone can take a measurement, but science is the made up stuff, like Newton, and Einstein, and Steven Hawking.

Where is the scientific method.... Gravity is a pull force! ...Never tested. Gravity is the bending of spacetime... backwards thinking. The red shift is the expansion of the universe... the contraction would be identical. The universe is made from maths... no way does the Universe use maths. The Universe is a hologram projected from a black hole... now you are getting silly. The Universe is made from strings... strings require joints... so a string isn't even made from strings. The universe is made from waves... waves require joints so a wave isn't even made from waves.

The scientific method does not work, and most of the time isn't even used.

Uhm... what? The first computer was a basic mechanical counting machine... Blaise Pascal created it. He is also
Credited with founding the modern theory of probability, he also discovered the properties of the cycloid (or roulette) and contributed to the advance of differential calculus. As a physicist, his failed attempts to discredit the notion that 'nature abhors a vacuum' led to the invention of the barometer, hydraulic press and syringe. The SI unit (International System of units) of pressure, the Pascal, and a computer programming language are named after him.

Beyond that, if you are talking the first "computer" as we think of them, Charles Babbage started to develope the first difference engine in the 1820's. Things continued to progress from there, but you are probably referring to the British Colossus:
The Colossus was the first electric programmable computer and was developed by Tommy Flowers and first demonstrated in December 1943. The Colossus was created to help the British code breakers read encrypted German messages.

You can read more Here, but suffice it to say, the first computer was NOT made for war.

This... is word salad, but I'll give it a shot:

Gravity never tested? Okay... go jump off a cliff and see if you fly away. You fell to the ground? Oops, you tested gravity.
Gravity is the bending of spacetime - how would you propose we test this? I mean, we can't exactly "see" the fabric of space... however, we have run many, many tests to try and prove or disprove this... Take a read here and see :)
Red shift being the expansion of the universe is a contraction... I dont' know what you are trying to say.
Universe is made from maths... no, the universe is made from matter... we use math to explain what we observe.
Universe is a hologram projected from a black hole - ... ?
String Theory - please, do read up on it before you go throwing this one around, as it's way above your understanding.
Universe is made of waves - if you are referring tot he idea of the "quantum universe" I apologize - I haven't read up on that enough to say much in this matter.

The scientific method does not work, and most of the time isn't even used.

You are claiming that the scientific method does not work, and yet you have not been able to present any evidence to this claim... please, present evidence, or redact your claim.

Victor, as asked already - exactly what is supposed to be going on in there? What I see, and can determine: You have a large cylindrical container with air turbines inside connected to generators. The thing at the back is, I'm guessing, an air compressor of some sort?
I don't see anything here to generate ANY kind of airflow over the turbines... it's a sealed system as far as I can tell. So you would have no force applying... well, anywhere (excluding pressure inside the tank if indeed that is a compressor on it)

Gravity as a pull force has never been tested. Newton walked into a room, and just said it out loud without laughing at himself.

You can't test the bending of spacetime, it doesn't exist.

Red shift contraction means stretching out towards points, like stretching towards the black hole in our Galaxy, and then shrinking into the hole. So expansion is not proven.

String Theory should not be read about, because strings have to be made from joints, it's common physics.

Reading about the quantum Universe would show that you are not capable of thinking without books.

Uh... huh... so what do you propose? That gravity is a "push" force? That something outside of Earth is pushing all down towards

You can't test the bending of spacetime, it doesn't exist.

Proof, or are you just going to waltz in here and claim every world-renowned scientist is wrong, and that we should believe you because you... well... what merits do you have to make us believe you?

No... no it doesn't. You are referring to Doppler Shift, a well known and easily documented phenomenon. Read and learn - it is not a "theory", it's proven fact... it applies to sound too (you know how an ambulance or police car coming up behind you sounds different than it does as it passes you and even again different when it is moving away from you? Yeah, that is doppler shift

String Theory should not be read about, because strings have to be made from joints, it's common physics.
By who's definition? In "String Theory", strings are fundamental... that is, there is nothing "making" them, they are the smallest simplest building block. is this correct? We don't know... why? Because WE CAN'T SEE THAT SMALL YET. Thus, our data is based on our best conjecture combined with best technology.

There joints you are talking about... provide some reference, as I can find NONE.

Reading about the quantum Universe would show that you are not capable of thinking without books.

No, it shows that I'm intelligent enough to acknowledge my own limitations as a human being, and thus the limits of my inherent knowledge. I'm a Network Infrastructure Specialist and IT Manager, not a Quantum Physicist. I mean, hell, no wonder you don't believe in the Scientific Method... you IGNORE half of it.

Here it is, in a nutshell:
The steps of the scientific method are to:
Ask a Question
Do Background Research
Construct a Hypothesis
Test Your Hypothesis by Doing an Experiment
Analyze Your Data and Draw a Conclusion
Communicate Your Results

You are skipping "Do Background Research", "Test Your Hypothesis" and "Analyze your Data" and skipping from Construct a Hypothesis to Communicate your... well, Hypothesis, as you aren't DOING any testing to GET results.

Propellant of centrifugal force

The idea is to remove the force of reaction of the turbines blue, creating a centrifugal force that will push sideways to the turbines blue:

Red is an electric motor

Green is a cylinder
The blue are turbines ejecting pressure to the alternator and pushing.
Black is an alternator of blades.

Obviously you are skipping the background research. Try doing that before you reply. You are doing what scientists do, make a statement, and then later find out that you are wrong. Like I said... the scientific method doesn't work, and you are helping to prove it.

Gravity can be a push force.

The bending of spacetime was never proved.

Doppler shift works towards a black hole if you use a gas flowing towards it, but the gas would vanish in the hole. So you move matter towards points in every direction, you get the Doppler shift.

I ignore the scientific method because it doesn't work. I figured that out based on all of the false positives in science.
