I don't have cable. I check in with the various YouTube broadcasts every now and then but it's too early so there is really nothing to see.I bet you’re doing that right now watching the election coverage.
I expect Biden to win and the only question is whether it's by a landslide or not. I would like to know how N.C. or Florida turns out (the swing states that are most likely to report tonight).

I agree that people get the government they deserve (that they vote for).
I always use USPS to ship something. They have a good website, I can pay for and print the shipping label and schedule a free pickup from my front door the next day. I ship Priority Mail so it gets there in about 2 days and there is less chance of damage.
I get a notice from PayPal that I have been paid, I transfer that to my local bank account, so it's all very convenient and quick.
Ah, gotcha. That's a nice set up, then. I have a friend who has a small business online, and she uses them in a similar way. I think if they pick up right at your door with priority mail, you can almost guarantee that the item won't be ''lost.''
So, Trump looks like he's gaining some solid ground. He looks like he won Florida. But, we won't have the final answer tonight, unless something crazy happens.

Seems to me a country (country = large group of diverse people living within a geographical area) get a Government favoured by the rules the election is run by
Which by that criteria only the people on the winning side get the Government they deserve, the losers get nothing

Even if your candidate doesn't ''win,'' you still participated in the process, and that is what democracy is all about. The quote ''a nation gets the government it deserves,'' means that a nation's government is a reflection of its citizens' values.I find that statement a bit strange

Well the majority OK
What I put forward,some time ago another forum, is a set up based on the majority forming the main Government with other parties given low level Government jobs
Example give the 2nd party say Parks and Wildlife. If they prove adept at running and improving Parks and Wildlife the public has some gauge as to their ability to manage stuff
Stuff it up, next election they become the 3rd party
All voters have now "Elect us we will do A-B-C especially A." Get voted in no A no B no C but fiddle around with D until close to next election
